Alvarez, Ortiz foes named


Rising Mexican phenom Saul “Canelo” Alvarez (33-0-1, 25 KOs) who squares off against former World Champion Carlos “Tata” Baldomir (45-12-6, 14 KOs) and top junior welterweight contender “Vicious” Victor Ortiz (27-2-1, 21 KOs) who will face former World Champion “Vicious” Vivian Harris (29-4-1, 19 KOs) on September 18 at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles which will be televised live on pay-per-view. Those will be the featured undercard bouts on Golden Boy Promotions’ “200: CELEBRATE AND DOMINATE” pay-per-view card headlined by Sugar Shane Mosley (46-6, 39 KOs) against Sergio “The Latin Snake” Mora (22-1-1, 6 KOs) in a junior middleweight showdown.

i dont buy that for one second, ortiz wouldnt want anymore of maidana and golden boy wouldnt have him in there with him again coz victors career would be practically over if he lost a rematch. ortiz has done nothing but fight journeymen since, a far cry from someone like maidana.
