Clearly W***** didnt bother because Macklin is walking into a hiding, amazing this time last year this was like a world eliminator, now its nothing more than a domestic scrap.

 Will this fight happen now?

I thought W***** was trying to get Macklin a world title shot?

If it does happen, for my money Barker wins and Macklin can kiss goodbye to any shot in the future.

I'm very dubious this fight happens. I think W***** will look to guide Macklin elsewhere.

Macklin won't get a title shot on merit. He'll only get a non mandatory fight for an easy defence.

Which i feel both W***** and Macklin would prefer, rather than lose to Barker, only an opinion of course.

I reckon they let Henessey win the bid and then he'll vacate the title just to wind them up.
I expect Macklin;s next fight will be against  Dmitry Pirog for the wbo or Daniel Geale for the ibo.

Barker aint all that, I think it would be quite evenly matched, both gassed out by the 6th ending in a Barker UD i reckon.
