Put it this way - do you like shopping at Aldi??!

Thats because you insist on staying at the Bellagio and eating $700 tasting menus with wine pairings  Grin

Best advice is to stay at the south end of the strip, saving money staying in the pokey places on the north end of the strip, you just end up having to pay for cabs everyday. I thought staying in the Sahara would be cool as its on the monorail direct to the MGM, but it finishes most nights at 2am, so in 1 week, walked the length of the strip 8 times as I got fed up of getting shafted by cabbies

Had the same last month Gav. Combined the walk with a few casino bar crawls. Find of the crawl was $1 a bottle in Casino Royale. They needed a selling point as its a dive! Quite entertaining sipping ice cold $1 beer at 8 in the morning though...

Fancy a Road Trip Rob?

Would love to but not an option at the moment - planning on moving house in the New Year.

Thanks for all the replies fellas - seems affordable for what you get. Smiley Karma to all that replied.

It was such a contrast, from being in the MGM and all the hotels around there with all the hot girls and 24/7 partying, nice bars and clubs, good restaurants and people that resemble human beings, to walk into the Sahara at 5 in the morning, seeing aload of ugly alcoholic gambling addicts, going into your pokey room, with a bathroom that hasnt had the shower curtain changed since 1960, NEVER AGAIN!!

Yes and I will be prepared this time unlike the Haye vs Klitschko fight.

I shall be informing the missus that I am on a training course in England that weekend in September. Grin

My mates stayed at a motel in Las Vegas and said it was very dodgy.

I hope the prices for Frochs next fight are similar to the last few, ringside for 250, I would defo be up for that! I wouldnt begrudge him charging more though - you get much better value at his fights than the $1000's one from a certain "former p4p no.1"  Wink
