Did not score the fight, but seemed a clear winner to me. Satchell knew he had lost the fight, I think that tells you everything.

Cheers Guys was curious ... i am involved with Butchers promoters and i thought it was close but re watching it i thought he maybe one it by a round ... but i will admit im biased.

We are lobbying the board to have Butcher made the mandatory for the belt ...so hopefully watch this space ...

I've not seen it, but it was mixed on twitter based on who was on the feed.

But the trend was Butcher did enough.

Then at the complete other end was 'yous wee robbin english bastid ye ! '

I had it 7 rounds to 5 for Butcher with the knockdown in 2nd making it a 10-8.

Butcher 115 - 112 Satchell

Excellent performance by Butcher and really felt for him. (No homo)

Had Butcher winning aswell poor hometown decision and people wonder why challengers hate travelling to the champions home town the only time ive seen a fair hometown scorecard was the judges scoring the Burns vs Gonzalez fight who rightly had Jose up before he quit.
