Joe Calzaghe admits only cash can tempt him back into the ring but he is adamant his fighting days are over.

The Welshman retired unbeaten after a superb middleweight career and has no intention of performing a U-turn after hanging up his gloves in February.

Although joking there is a figure that would make him change his mind, £10 million, Calzaghe has reiterated that defeat is inevitable if you return for the wrong reasons.

"The only temptation is the cash," he told Zoo Magazine. "Iím owed a lot, so obviously I could still use some more. But to fight again, just for that, would be a big mistake.

"£10 million! Iíd come back for that! But, realistically, thatís a joke. Nobody is going to offer me that in my weight division. Anyway, my hands are still sore and I canít achieve anything else.

"There will always be fighters coming through Ė but I canít fight forever. Eventually Iíd get my ass kicked."

I'd have thought there were guidelines in place to stop the winning party having to pay their own legal bill. If W***** don't stump up it'll come out of the public purse. Though I'd have thought there were guarantees in place that both parties could pay the legal bill.

Usualy the winning team get his bills paid by the other side. Though if W***** gets off the hook ie Bankrupt then Joe will be liable for the costs. Or at least a good chunk of it. More than likely he will of been paying whilst he went along Rob and claims costs back. Solicitors and Barristers always get paid

It could be an off the cuff remark.

Or it could be a feeler - send the number out (10 million) and see if anyone comes close.

Maybe a message to Big Mick Hennessey to get his money-out and back his fighter.

Millennium Stadium would be packed, HBO love Joe Calzaghe and Froch's win over Taylor made alot of the US take notice and get excited. Pretty sure money can be made - maybe not 10 million but not far off. Wink

Is it logistically possible though to stage a fight at the millenium stadium at an ideal time to suit HBO PPV in order to attract enough PPV buys?
