Very bad matchmaking, that guy was incapable of defending or evading hooks and looked a complete novice with his hands not tight.

That Santana looks a decent fighter could put him in with the likes of Gavin and he would be a real handful around that level. It seems Guzman is not only shit at dieting he is also pretty shit at match making too  Grin

A lot of these 'amazing KOs' are just bad refereeing or total mismatches. I think this one was both. Doesn't do the sport any credit IMHO.

I have to disagree on this one, the combination that finished him was decisive - he was still steady in my opinion before that. Now, should that combination of hit and he wouldn't have gone down then I believe the ref would have stopped the fight. Any earlier would have been a premature stoppage.

I thought his eyes didn't look right when he got up.

He wasn't compos mentis , more like auto-pilot.

It's more his legs than anything, but that doesn't warrant a stoppage at that point (at least in my view) he wasn't dancing around like Zab for example.

Depends on the fighter, situation etc. I know it's easy to say in hindsight but you can clearly see he doesn't really know where he is after getting up the first time. The guy was a novice, and should have been stopped then. That's how people get seriously hurt. It wasn't exactly a world title fight!
