So undercard-fighter George Groves has a chance to win the WBA regular title tomorrow.

Chudinov has moobs and Groves' head looks like a veiny penis.

Haven't seen a great deal of Chudinov TBH so I'm going to go with Groves. Though it'll need to be a stoppage.

George has not long since turned 29.

Getting Cobra'd has aged him.

Just seen him on sky as well, may be imagining it, but think he sounds a bit punchy now.

You are not the first person to say it lately.

I just think he sounds monotone and miserable.

He's always sounded like he needs his adanoids removing, and never been the Peter Ustinov of boxing. He now seems to trip on his words a bit... might be down to being knackered and weight drained (interview was day before weigh in), but he definitely sounded worse than he has.

I like Groves. He's a smart guy who if he wasn't a talented boxer would (and probably will) go down other roads. He's got a decent sarcastic humour and definitely takes all the bullshit with a pinch of salt. I know he's hated for rattling the Demigod Froch and having a go at the biggest moment of his career but he seems an alright sort.

I've a feeling all week though that they are just presuming they will beat Fedor. If he's taken this lightly it could turn out to be a disaster, one of those nights where the wheels come off after 6 rounds and its a real struggle.

Hopefully Groves does the business tonight and hasn't taken it lightly due to it seemingly being an easier assignment than his previous world title opportunities. I think he'd certainly be one of the better British fighters to not win a world title if he doesn't pull it off.

Yeah groves is a strange sort in interviews and it was hard to like him in the build up toFrich fights etc but he strikes me as the type of guy who's completely different in real life and probably quite sound in person.

Quite funny that if he wins tonight he won't actually be a world champion as it's that joke WBA belt.

I remember Frampton dismissing the belt when Quigg had it, I wish more fighters would speak out against it

Groves is fighting for the legit (as far as it can be said) WBA belt, Zeuge has the pretend one. Quigg had the secondary belt when he fought Frampton as Rigo was the proper champion.

Cheers - I was wondering too!!

I suppose it gives Eddie and co an easy big fight next year with a Degale rematch for  a strap.

Never been the same fighter since he left Booth, He's arrogant and his own worst enemy. He only needs to look at Degale to see how he's progressed. Now Chunky can have his moments but losing to Groves was arguably the making of him whilst it was the down fall of Groves.

Groves to win by stoppage.
