In other news outside the domination of Mayweather vs Mcgregor, the well respected Japanese fighter lost his title yesterday. I haven't got great knowledge of Yamanaka but watched his fantastic rematch with Moreno last fight and was also aware of his run, I read a bit going into this fight with Luis Nery and again although not well known to myself, and im sure quite a few others, he was quietly fancied especially with a few vulnerabilities showing in Yamanaka's last few defences.  So I thought I would keep an eye an out for the result and Nery got the stoppage in 4 by all accounts against a very brave Yamanaka.

May be worth keeping an eye on this guy, is this the end for Yamanaka? A possible addition to a few notable retirements on the Japanese scene in recent times with Uchiyama, Miaru and Hasegawa all calling it a day. Still some exciting fighters coming through, I'm sure there are a few posters on here who could point them out with a lot more knowledge than myself.
