Anyone think Frampton will have a long WBO reign of imported cheap bums ?

Valdez is the current WBO champ and I can't see W***** fronting the cash to get him over.  Frampton would have to travel to get a shot and then it would be some task for him to win it.

I'm surprised that they didn't go straight after Selby as his career is going nowhere fast and would probably be grateful for a payday.

Risky move considering the rumoured reason he split with Cyclone was that he'd been done out of money for previous fights.

And when was last time W***** put on a stadium show, Haye-Chisora in 2012?

Obviously he'll be no.1 fighter in W*****'s stable and BT Sport will give him good promotion but still not sure it's the best move.

It's stupid move.

Sky has their Box Office, whereas BT has nothing.

Frampton was saying that Eddie / Sky have too many big stars to keep happy, and he'd be BT's no1.

Sorry Carl but you aint a big star.

I think it is a risky move but could pay off long term

When Eddie first started he only really had Kell brook who was fighting at leisure centres in Sheffield. And then he got others defecting one after one.

Frampton is probably the biggest ticket seller in British boxing now bar aj.

I think the success here depends on how much money bt are willing to throw at boxing.

Both Quigg and Selby are under matchroom and neither have much to get excited about in a long time. If their career trajectory impacted on his decision then it may not be a bad decision at all.

I think he’s fighting on a card in Monaco in November

Can't imagine he's bursting with enthusiasm for that. Other than obviously Frampton and Martinez quiggs opponents under matchroom have been pretty dire.

Hearn should be able to make Quigg vs Selby over dinner if he really wanted too. Unless one of them really doesn't fancy it I've no idea why he hasn't. Neither look even close to getting a bigger fight anytime soon and now Carl is with Frank it's unlikely either will face him.

People on here slated cyclone but what they achieved with Frampton is far better than anything matchroom has done for Lee and Scott. Lee just gets stuck on shitty PPV cards, and Scott on crappy cards in general.

I thought Selby’s Matchroom contract had expired.
