Just because the old forum got full of lots of Pacman threads, most were along the lines of 'Manny has got a cold today.....blah blah blah, they can all go in here for the time being!  Grin

Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao will never happen unless 'Money' drops his pay demands, according to promoter Bob Arum.

Pacquiao agreed to split the proceeds from his last fight with Ricky Hatton 50-50, but his camp are insistent they will not do so again.

Mayweather for his part, insists that it is him who should be paid more if he meets Pacquiao.

Pacman's promoter Arum - who had an acrimonious falling out with Mayweather when the Grand Rapids fighter left Top Rank - insists that unless he moves from this stance a fight will never happen.

"Mayweather is taking the position that unless he gets more money, there will never be a fight - that's absurd," Arum said on Setanta Sports News.

"Manny is the most sought-after boxer on the planet.

"If Mayweather persists with this position, a fight will never happen."

A more realistic fight in the short-term would seem to be Pacquiao-Miguel Cotto, should he beat Joshua Clottey live on Setanta Sports 2 at 2am on Sunday morning (BST).

Arum, who also promotes Cotto, believes this fight would have as much appeal.

"If Cotto beats Clottey that's just as big a fight," Arum added.

I'd like to see Pacquiao vs Guzman - be a great fight.

Mosley vs PacMan - No - too much weight difference.

Floyd vs PacMan - Nope, don't want to see that as I want to see Floyd fight actual Welterweights. Floyd vs Cotto is good, Floyd vs Mosley is good but Floyd vs Paul Williams is Great. 'The Punisher' would beat Floyd.

Cotto vs Manny can be done but I think Manny is at a disadvantage. Cotto is very strong.

Maybe thats why Freddie wants Manny retired before within the next 12 months or so, so Valero doesnt get his shot

That means nothing if Manny doesnt want to fight Valero. Manny is the man with the power now and he can pretty much pick and choose his opponents. Im not sure a fight against Valero would be anywhere near as attractive as a fight against Moseley, Cotto or Mayweather  Undecided

i doubt it very much if arum drew this contract up without running it by manny and i doubt valero signed it without the pacmans signature been on the agreement :Smiley

Maybe so but that was then and this is now. Money talks in boxing and now Manny has the money and is the main man so im sure he could get around it if he wished   Smiley

I assume with you  knowing so much about this contract you have seen a copy of it?  Huh?

I am not saying the contract was never made. Im just stating that a lot of contracts arent worth the paper they are written on Wink
