John and Juarez just started, not long to wait, John just edging for me so far, end of round 3

Started this mainly to discuss the Katsidis - Escobedo fight

F*ck me these judges have shit in their eyes! One had it about right with 115-113 to Katsidis but the other two need to go to Specsavers!! It was never a split decision fight yet one gave it 116-112 to Escobedo  Shocked

That was a 'WTF' moment in itself but then the next judge gave it to Katsidis by 118-110!!

How on earth can three people sat next to each other see a fight so differently

Can't decide if that bodes well for Marquez against Floyd or not but this will be a very technical fight and I have a feeling the judges will also score it very differently  Undecided

Not to be pedantic but the judges dont sit next to each other, they sit one on each side of the ring minus the media side.

Also the judges will be different for Mayweather - Marquez

Other than that i agree, SD was a joke, Katsidis won clearly

At least they have something for everyone though, it was Whitesnake or someone last time and just then some dodgy rap song!

I expect a Bob Dylan or Roy Orbison classic next

John by 2.  Again though,  I dont know how these judges scored it so one sided.   Are there seats facing the correct way?

Think the Vegas judges have all been on the lash before hand or the Vegas 'air' is definitely getting to them

That was never a 119-109 fight  Shocked

I have had to put the TV on mute.  The sky commentators have done nothing but go on about how good Mayweather is!

I know he is making it look easy but they would have you beleive Marquez hasnt actually landed a punch.

To be fair, he didnt. Maybe half a dozen clean shots, everything else was blocked or slipped
