Every W***** fight card ive bought tickets for starts off lookingg the nuts then by fight night there's always two or three that dont come off.

To be fair i don't go to many live fight nights so this could be the norm but it seems like when tikets go on sale its going tto be a great night of boxing to draaw everyone in then they have tehir fighters pull out ad go on a card a month later!!  Grin

Really fancied going to this. £48 a ticket just seemed a bit steep.

Be good to see Brook back in action and I really hope Mitchell puts in a good performance.

FFS really starting to worry about Brook, how many times has he had to re schedule a fight now.
I hope he isnt blighted by injury all the time as I reckon he is one of our best hopes for the future.

Dont know how much truth is in this but i read it this morning

The latest round of BBBoC championship news threw up an interesting contest or two.  Carl Dilks, a recent Prizefighter contestant and Commonwealth title challenger, is set to take on rising prospect George Groves on the undercard of David Haye’s WBA heavyweight title defence against John Ruiz.

Haye fights at the MEN, Manchester on the 3rd of April and the Grove-Dilks match will go a long way to calming fears over the depth of the undercard.  Dilks is in a good run of form, despite losing to Charles Adamu, and has more experience than Groves, who has raised a few eyebrows thus far in his career due to his polished skills.

In other news, Mick Hennessey has won the rights to stage John O’Donnell’s challenge for Kell Brook’s British welterweight title, sparking rumours that Brook could be set to join Mick’s stable.  Brook, who is fighting Krzysztof Bienias for the WBO Inter-Continental in Liverpool on the 12th of March, is far more likely to vacant; he owns the Lonsdale belt outright and is eyeing world title level.  However, a Brook-O’Donnell tussle would be a good trade fight.

I'm going. I'm based in London, so a good chance to see a bit of live boxing. Looking forward to the Cleverly v Brancalion fight. I reckon Cleverly's got enough to win it. Thought this was the better card than the one at York Hall tonight personally. Couldn't afford to do both.

welterweight Frankie Gavin  SC Peter McDonagh  NC ? 6x3
super featherweight Vinny Mitchell  SC Jon Baguley  NC ? 6x3
super featherweight Liam Walsh  SC Sid Razak  NC ? 6x3

I'm looking forward to Gavin v McDonagh.  A solid fight for Gavin in his sixth Pro outing and McDonagh certainly knows his way around the ring and it won't be a walk in the park.

Why is Mitchell top of the bill? a non-title tuneup ?

There is not much else to put over the top of it, Mitchell is going to make some noise in the sport before any of the others on the card so its only fair that he top the bill.
As a main event though it is pretty shit, think it would be better of called night of prospects now than night of champions though.
