Paul Appleby is still only 22 and was progressing very fast (winning british young boxer of the year 2008, ahead of Kell Brook and Nathan Cleverly) until he went into the lions den with Martin Lindsay. It will be a year next month since what was his first and only loss to date and with the re-building that will need to be done IMO he is a prospect who could well come back stronger and have learnt a lesson from that tough night in Northern Ireland.

Lets hope he moves him on at the right pace and he's not still at the same level in 2 years time.

I dont think he's a chav, just a bit nuts.

Good fighter, just needs to calm down a bit more and do his thing.

Jamie Cox, Frankie Gavin, Scott Quigg. And for the record i think John Simpson is going to batter Martin Lindsey into quitting on the stool. Simpson is beginning to move up the gears now after being robbed by Dazzo Williams, Derry Matthews and Stephen Foster Jr.

Like others I really like the look of Frankie Gavin. Nathan Cleaverly looks a talent don't know if you'd still class him as a prospect though. In fact british boxing is looking really healthy at the moment. Exciting times ahead.
