Title: Boxing tonight
Post by: 7777 on June 01, 2012, 11:50:13 AM
In case anyone didn't know, it's on BolloxNation

Billy Joe Saunders v Bradley Pryce
Stephen Smith v Jose Luis Graterol

And in another universe

Howard Eastman (yes the same one) v Simeon Hardy in Georgetown, Guyana

Yeah looking forward to Saunders-Pryce. Going to be at the Chris Higgs-Joel Ryan weigh in tonight (http://www.livefight.com/boxingforum/index.php/topic,18617.0.html (http://www.livefight.com/boxingforum/index.php/topic,18617.0.html)  ;) ) but then watching this when I get back.

I think it'll be a reasonable test for Saunders but I'd expect him to take control of Pryce by the mid rounds and force a stoppage. Bradley got badly outboxed by Danny Butler for most of their fight last year before he dropped and hurt him, so I'm confident Billy Joe should have far too much variety for him.

If Billy Joe's hand's hold up, then long term he could be the pick of the current crop. He's accurate, good on his feet, good dig on him and has good variety.
