Title: BJS V MONROE JNR
Post by: bigbibbs on September 11, 2017, 08:15:18 PM
I think this is going to be one very tough fight for Billy.

He's not had much activity and when he has he looked flat.

Let's hope he can pull it all together and put a good win he sorely needs.

He looks in decent shape, but on recent form he struggles against anyone of any substance.
I think he'll drop a Pts decision.

Judging by the photos I've seen he looks in phenominal shape, Ingle has done an awesome job, if he'd been under his previous form and shoe I'd have been betting on him to lose as this is a potential banana skin. But he does look to have worked hard this time and talent and hard work win. If he was gambling on talent getting him through this I'd be worried.

I just have a feeling BJS is gonna lose this one...I don't know how, I don't know why, but I just see this as a massive banana skin for him...even though Monroe is not a true fighter (well, according to GGG anyway), I think he beats BJS in the current circumstances

To be fair if he can't beat Monroe he might as well call it a day.

Exactly.....especially considering he's motivated and in shape for this one.

Personally I think he does a job on Monroe. When on his game there's no question that Sanders has plenty of ability. And he's positioned perfectly for the GGG/Alvarez winner. I don't think he'll mess this up, I think Monroe will be sent packing.

Saunders wins this easy and then gets splattered by the winner or maybe even the loser of GGG v Alvarez.

I think Billy makes easy work of Monroe Jnr. I'll go for a BJS stop win inside eight rounds in a brilliant crisp sharp performance.

Anyone seen BJS cretin of a child attack Monroe Jr at the weigh in?

Just seen,  what a joke.  BJS has tried to justify it too.

The conduct of his child at the weighin was an utter disgrace and BJS kid should have been nowhere near the weighin.

Let's not pretend like he wasn't put up to that.

If he was that just makes it worse.

Saunders has came across as a prick for some time now. Either way he's in for an absolute humbling against Golovkin or Alvarez.

Although I have picked him to win I really hope Monroe Jnr sparks him for being a prize cock

I used to like BJS but watching him ringside at shows lately and just his general appearance he comes across s a twat .  Proper twat

He won't lose this fight mind

Its funny how BJS is making a big deal about Monroe quitting in the 6th round against GGG... when BJS can't even pluck up the courage to sign up for the fight in the first place. Shits himself and been ducking GGG for how long now. Talk about pot calling the kettle.

Ridiculous that the BJS fight starts at 11.50 tonight for people at the arena. Guess they are after drunk PPV buys from people watching the fight on BT.

You'd have to be an an absolute idiot to attend BJS fight at 11.50 at night.

Echo the thoughts on the appalling behaviour of his kid.

Wow - Is that so that viewers in america can watch it before the GGG v Canelo fight ?

As far as I know it's not being shown over there. Me and my brother went to BJS v Ryder and I think that must've started gone midnight. Most people went before it started to get the last tube, fortunately our hotel was only down the way next to Westfield.

Wow didn't know the fight was that late, it is quite ridiculous, will be able to watch the Smith fight live though now.

I Enjoy Saunders boxing style and some of his IFL interviews can be entertaining, I haven't seen all of this week but some of his conduct his shocking and maybe he is due one.  Hopefully his skillset will see him through tonight and get him focused on the sport and in some good middleweight fights which I feel he can certainly warrant a place in, although he looks in good shape you do think that his sporadic commitment to the sport may just cost him in a fight you favour him in.

Have an interest in the fight tonight, I want to see Saunders compete and see how far he can go.

Jaime said bjs v Eubank was the worst atmosphere on earth . Literally people just throwing people out of their seats .

Security none exsistent. People just barging in and not even laying at the door.

F*ck that, I'm no shrinking violet but there's no fun in that sort of night.

Ive been toying with the idea of going to see fury next week as it's on my doorstep but in two minds as I'd be sober and with the missus

Robert W***** and Mark Burdis have started their own security firm. Roma Security I think it's called. I wonder if they'll be handling the security at the W***** shows going forward and if so if it'll be any different.

Saw a poll on twitter where almost 75% of people said they'd won tickets to this rather than paid. Not surprised as I've won every BN competition I've ever entered.

This is utterly dire both fighters stinking the place out. I can't see how Monroe takes the title.

Saunders only one looking like he wants to engage. Hard to look good when the other guy is as negative as Monroe.

Poor fight this didn't do BJS any favours as he still didn't shine. But that was not all his fault monroe was terrible.
I missed the rest of the card watching callum Smith. I recorded boxnation HD and they out it standard lol
