To be fair I think we've deserved the lead! As long as Spearing is your holding midfielder you are doomed! he is truly terrible! Tiote is showing him how its done. |

You have just but we are defo still in it! I told you all how much we would miss Lucas, until he was injured he was our best player for two years and that includes Gerrard, Suarez etc, we are supposedly after some French DM but will pay 10m more than he is worth  |

Hmmm, it was a point gained from nothing really. I watched the game today and as a United fan i was disappointed in the end that Sunderland couldn't hold on when in reality i'd have bitten your hand off for a draw before kick off. Conversely, City fans must have expected to win but in the end are probably grateful for a point.
Pizarro seemed to make the difference, especially as Silva has seemed out of sorts for some time.
I'm sure there will be more points dropped by both teams but City are running out of games now and for the first time this season it's out of their hands. United are in a strong position with players returning whereas City seem to be picking up a few injuries that we've had to deal with all season. Even if we draw or lose at Blackburn, i think we'll beat QPR comfortably at home which would leave City 5 or 6 points adrift with Arsenal to play away next.
No City fans have mentioned it but do you not think Adebayor could have done a better job up front than Balotelli (who drifts in and out of games) or Dzeko (who has been poor for ages)? surely he should've at least been part of your squad. You're always going to need 4 strikers over the course of a trophy contesting season.
Good post I just can't see united dropping any points its the time of the season where they perform best and don't drop points have done it for many many years! The thing where you mention about the strikers your very correct! You have mentioned ADE there is also Santa! There is also a kid in the ranks called Suarez who we haven't even seen yet! I would agree except for whoever decided Obertan was worth 4.5 million! Just trying to think who's worse Obertan or Spearing! |
