It isnt Uniteds rivalry is far worse towards Liverpool. In fact I would say the rivalry with City from a United perspective is below Liverpool, Arsenal and possibly Leeds. City's rivalry towrds United is massive but not the other way round That could possibly change should City's "project" prove to be a success tho Nah, in order it is: liverpool, city, leeds.

As for Tevez joining City cos the rivalry with United isn't the same as Liverpool's, do me a favour. We hate your lot on a whole different level to how we hate city!

I let my personal hatred for the arseholes blur my view there Chris. You obviously more qualified to judge the hatred! If City become a success do you think they could overtake Liverpool in the hatred table ?

If City become a success do you think they could overtake Liverpool in the hatred table ? I no the question was directed at chris, but my answer would be no. The hatred of liverpool and the gunners is based on them being succesfull over a long period of time........ liverpool 70's-80's and the gunners being there or there abouts while Sir Alex being in charge apart from the last 4 seasons. There for IMO man city could win the prem and the CL next season and for me the hatred for gunners and liverpool would still be greater.

Like 777 said...... Its just banter. Im sure you will agree though its great having these world class strikers but you also need strength at the back? I would expect city to buy some one of better quility than they have already got......as in JT they are trying to sign. IMO the same ghoes to real madrid. Im sure you will also agree man citys defence is not as strong as any of the so called big four in the prem? Im not knocking city at all, i think its great for the prem what they are doing, its not great for the transfer market though just stating facts and giving my opinion. Don't forget how early it is in the transfer window. There is still the best part of 2 months lefts. Deals like Tevez have to be sewn up asap because players of that class don't remain on the market for long. I know it's just banter as well, me and 7777 had the same shit last season when I said Liverpool would be lucky to get into the top 4...

My guess is that some of the inferior strikers will be shipped out if possible. I wouldn't be surprised to see Bellamy, Benjani, Caicedo and Evans out the door before the start of the season, leaving us a forward line to choose from Bojinov, Tevez, RSC and possibly Adebayor if we sign him. That is impressive, with anyone from SWP, Ireland, Petrov and Robi supplying them.

We're still being tipped as the team to drop out of the top four By who? Personally I'd target Arsenal. From City's POV It still eems very far fetched to aspire to top 4 this season, but if there is a team to target then Arsenal have to be the team, don't they? To any Arsenal fans, are you arsed about losing Adebayor to us (assuming the deal goes through; medical and work permit sorted)? I'm in two minds about him.

We're still being tipped as the team to drop out of the top four I would think that tip could only be made on an assumption that you'll not start the season with mascherano or alonso Arsenal look the weakest, unless their 'superkids' finally start making an impression... Personally though I'd fully expect the top 4 to remain as is. On a more important note though, Grimsby have made some cracking signings and I now firmly believe they will go up as undefeated champions, with a couple of spectacular cup runs in the process

Just hope you dont get that woman liner.
