Well as a blue and just in car on way back I have to say I am a tad upset but not as upset as I might of been had Mancini for me got his tactics superb after a controversial red card! We re adjusted made a few changes and came out fighting! At half time I actually went online betting at how many united would put past us 6/7 even 8.0 as my prediction was to shut up shop and protect and embarrassment like OT! We came out ought an superb to watch!

I personally thought Mancini thought the same bringing Silva and Johnson off but City did excellent to fight there way back into the game.

I do think it should have been Nasri not Silva to go off. It would have been an interesting last ten with Silva still on the pitch

Correct it's not over till it is hit with the players he brought off to bring on most people would of thought that! It would of been interesting with Silva sill on but at 3.0 down 10men at HT in the FA cup which Mancini has said isn't our priority, why risk or tire our best players with the league in mind and a carling cup semi with Liverpool weds!

Who in the right mind as well woul of thought united crusing at 3.0 HT would have a shocker of a 2nd half and nervy last 10mins?! I wouldn't

I was happy to see Scholes back but how shit was he.I know he's not match fit but he's a shadow of his former self.He went out on a high and later this year may go out with F*ck all.

Maybe Scholes was a little off the pace as you'd expect an old bastard to be after 6 months out but he largely played it simple and kept possession ticking over more often than not for Utd so I don't know what else you could have expected from him really, I thought he did ok overall.

Got to say hats off to City in the second half. They kept their shape and ran themselves into the ground. Richards and Aguero's workrate was ridiculous.

Add Milner to that, his workrate as always was phenomenal.

Aguero looked like he relished the role up front on his own, his pace and movement was a problem all game for Utd and had he had better support from Nasri his presence could have been even more of a nuisance for Utd's defence. Tactically we couldn't have played any better or done any more in the second half, I just wish it had been Nasri sacrificed for Zabaleta rather than Silva, because even in the first half, which was utterly disastrous by the way, Silva and Aguero worked well together whereas Nasri and Aguero didn't have anywhere neaar the same connection in the second half so Aguero worked probably harder than he should have had to. Nasri was totally lost in the game and was a weak link for us today, as was Kolarov despite his goal.

Scholes didn't tear up any trees but what would you expect after so long out. He was at fault for the Aguero goal but other than that he did alright. His pass completion (although mostly playing simple passes) was the best on the pitch. I don't expect him to start much but he'll be handy to have on the bench

Maybe a little bit of justice for the penalty city should of had for handball at the end, regardless of if it hit his leg first or not it stopped the movement of a ball that a City player could of been on the end of.

I don't think Man United can complain of their luck today, the opposition lose a man for a great tackle and Rooney gets a second chance after a penalty plus they get a penalty. Not bad for 90 mins is it really?

Why did the ref see into the future and see Jones's handball and therefore not give it?

I didn't see what you saw mate I'll be honest, the pass wasn't the best but Evra never moved and allowed Milner to take it off him for our second goal, and overall I thought he kept possession reasonably well for you and was always available for the pass, which is more than could be said for say Nasri for us.
