It was poor. Young has gone down too easily a few times this season.

Burnley have 2 X 22 year old strikers who have nearly 40 goals between them this year - Jay Rodriguez and Charlie Austin.

Jay will likely be away this summer. Austin almost has as many goals but has missed a lot of games through injury. He'll probably go the year after.

We actually have an even better striker coming through though - a lad called Danny Ings who is just 19 who we signed from Bournemouth. He's been out for most of the season injures but he's played the last few games and is absolute quality. One to keep an eye on next season.

Well I can't say I didn't see it coming.

As in the post I made on Thursday, the title is now well and truly over.

I'm not even angry, just massively disappoined how we performed so well for 3/4 of the season and then stumble on the last straight.  How you go from demolishing teams like Spurs and united away from home to scraping 2 points out of the last 12, is way beyond me.

For me Mancini got his tactics all wrong over the last straight.  Too set in his ways playing two holding mids and ignoring the width that's destroyed so many teams this season.

What does make me angry is the players that aren't willing to give 100% and that don't come over to acknowledge the fans.

It's the same few every weekend, Kompany, De Jong, Hart, Lescott, Zab.  They're the only ones who come over of their own accord, all the rest just walk off down the tunnel which just sums it up for me.

Not even going to bother giving my two cents on Mario.

You won't see any bitterness from me either, we lost the title, nobody else.

Fair play to united.

He's a bellend.

Acting like Arsenal have won the league like all the other Arsenal fans at full time yesterday.

What is it?  Something like 1 trophy in 5-6 years.  No wonder Cesc and all the rest left them.

Bit bitchy from a guy who supports a team that has won 1 trophy in about 20 years Grin

And Cesc did leave to join the best club and team in the world, any footballer worth his salt would jump at the chance to joing Barca regardless of the money on offer.

I think it's understandable that City fans are disappointed given the way they played up until Christmas. They've definitely progressed but many might say that was inevitable given their spending.

It might take them a couple of years to get the squad right. You can pay huge salaries but you can't buy heart and togetherness. It's surely no coincidence that the players Razz mentioned were signed pre-Mancini.

The City fans i speak to are fairly split down the middle on Mancini. Some think he's going in the right direction but others have questioned some of the signings and think he's tactically naive when the going gets tough.

Also signing non English speaking players from warmer climates is still always a massive risk IMO. Tevez wants out, Balotelli is a loon and there's rumours Aguero is unsettled.

City need to change at least 6-8 of their squad.

He gave it Nasri most definitely! Also give it Kompany and Lescott who both had a bite back as i think they had enough! DeJong came on and told all 3 to ignore him and settle it down! I use to like Piers and his banter between Rio back and forth was quite funny some days but last night with Nasri  he crossed the line and was very unprofessional I thought

Apparently Mancini is reported to be saying he needs 4 more players at a cost of around 150mil me mate told me, to be saying that after all they have already spent is a bit embarrasing.

I would sooner of seen City win the league this year than the other nobs but in terms of beatin a rival to the title, this one must be the best one yet for Fergie. How he has taken a team that on paper is far from anything special, infact even on the pitch half their team is hardly world beaters yet get them to play so well together is beyond me.

Carrick, Nani, Valencia, Fletcher etc are all good players but would probably not get in most of the other best teams in the world yet that creature in charge of them turns them into a title winning team.

United can bring whoever they like in the follow Fergie, I don't care who it is they will not find anyone like him again and from someone who has an immense dislike of the guy it hurts me to say it.

No it's the truth.

Since we've been taken over, that's when people have expected trophys of us and to start winning stuff.  So let's call that 1 FA cup in 2-3 seasons.

Now i'm pretty sure when Arsenal fans give it like they're the best club in England, and believe me it's not just Morgan giving it the big one, then i'm very much entitled to say so.

I had a comment yesterday saying how it's embarassing that we can't even buy the league, yet all the players that have left Arsenal for better clubs or bigger challenges, have only won 1 major trophy in their Arsenal playing careers!

I just noticed your last comment as well.  I've heard nothing but rave reviews about Valencia from united fans this season so I think a large chunk of them would disagree with you about him not getting in other teams.

Who left Arsenal for a bigger challenge? To do that they would be going to a worse team would they not? Fabregas can not exactly say he has gone for the challenge when joining the best team in the world.

I would say a challenge is going to a lesser team and hoping to make them better, Nasri, Toure, Fab, Clichy none of them can really say that. Barca are better than Arsenal and City are a bit better also at the minute and was prior to them lot joining.

I believe the main reasons players leave Arsenal is simply because unlike those around them, they do not give in easily to stupid wage demand that create greedy and players not arsed if they win or lose. Let's be real it is what brought all the big names to City at the beginning which made them a good team which is now also used as a way to attract plyers as they can possibly win stuff.

I have always had a like of Arsenal as they are the best to watch on their day, I would sooner see them win the league than any of the other bunch (City, Chelsea, United, Spurs).
