26 hours away! I am nervous as F***

This won't make you feel better:

6 reasons why United can still win the league:

1 City have a poor record against tomorrow's visitorsManchester City, 49 points ahead of Queens Park Rangers, would normally expect to win such a fixture at the Etihad Stadium comfortably. However, they have won only two of their past nine matches at home to QPR, all at Maine Road, having never yet hosted them at the Etihad. City have failed to win any of the past three encounters between the two sides in Manchester, losing 3-1 in the most recent fixture in March 2000 in what was then Division One. Chris Kiwomya, Gerard Wiekens (with an own-goal) and Mikkel Beck scored for QPR that day

2 United have a good record at tomorrow's hostsUnited have won on six of their past eight visits to tomorrow's opponents, Sunderland, with their hosts scoring only four goals in those games. United won 1-0 there two seasons ago in what was their final away game of the season

3 City have a poor record against HughesThe QPR manager has happy memories of his trips to the Etihad, having never lost any of his games there as a visiting manager. Indeed Mark Hughes has lost only one of the 10 matches he has managed against City, when in charge of Fulham and Blackburn, winning four and drawing five. Hughes's last match at City's stadium, in February 2011, was his first trip back there since he was sacked by the club, and he emerged with a creditable 1-1 draw, Damien Duff equalising for Fulham after Mario Balotelli's opener

4 United have a good record against O'NeillThe Sunderland manager, Martin O'Neill, lost seven and drew one of his eight games in charge of Aston Villa against United, being outscored by 21 goals to five in those matches

5 City have a poor record on the final dayCity have unhappy memories of final-day dramas, having won only two of their past seven games on the closing weekends of previous seasons. This included most infamously a humiliating 8-1 defeat at Middlesbrough in May 2008, Sven-Goran Eriksson's final game as the club's manager

6 United have a good record on the final dayUnited have won each of their past four games on the final day of the season. When they last lost, 1-0 at home to West Ham United in 2007, they had already won the title

Number 3 gives me the most hope!

If utd do manage to pull off an upset tomorrow how will the fans and players really feel about it. Will it still feel like a title won, or one picked up by default. I know the season is judged at the end, but when your closest rivals have proven themselves better in both league head to heads, with the latter coming just a few days ago, then surely it can not mean the same as it will for city?
Personally I now hope city can win it for the reasons stated above. If utd win it would be like retaining your belts after a draw you know you lost.

I don't think Man Utd will even beat Sunderland. Have no idea why they think its 3 easy points!

Nahhhh mate.  Man United have been slagged off this season and rightly so>  Most of Man City players are better than ours or you would prefer them.  Rooney would walk straight into there team.  One of  Rio or Vidic (when fit) would also walk into City team but not both, not at the expence of Kompany!
Sir Alex has got us playing as a team, thats the only reason we are still in with a shout TBH.......Sir Alex the team on paper is one of the worst for years and years.  If Sir Alex was in charge of City he would of had the PL done and dusted by christmas!  Not saying RM is bad just like it or not Sir Alex is one of the best managers if not the best to walk the planet ever!
If we did win it it would be one of the best Prem trophy wins ever given the squad, injurys, age of players (could of just left it as spuad  Lips Sealed ), and what we are up against as in regard the money Man City have got.
Plus you cant steal something over 38 games.....you finish where you deserve too.  One off cup game fair nuff but not after 38games.

My take on it any way

Before the last city game I would have agreed.
Infact I agree with amost everything you have said there (other than Rio getting in City's team, he's lucky to get in united's at the minute imo).
I know you finish where you deserve etc, but knowing you are not as good as the other team / person / athlete etc cannot mean the same as it would had the game had gone to united or even a lucky draw.

I'd have Lescott over Rio any day of the week.  Ferdinand's day has been and gone.

That's like saying how will city fans feel about winning it only on goal difference (if it even comes to that)

City or united fans will not careless how they win it

I hope Hodgson is brave with this squad he is naming for the Euros. Any player not 100% should be left at home and I think he should be brave when picking the squad. Terry, Ferdinand, Gerrard and Lampard should be left at home might not be a popular decision but we have more than adequate fresher players than them.

Agree his days best days are behind him.......But im sure you would take Rio instead of Lescott in CB, even now?

(granted i have not seen much of Lescott since joining City)

I no you said should, but there is not a chance of them players being left at home!  If them players are available from the 2nd game onwards......They will be going, right or wrong

We've got to move on some day but i think he's got to take some experience to help bed in the new players. I'd be interested to know who you'd think is more than adequate in centre midfield cos i think we're struggling!

I'm off to the Wigan game tomorrow should be a bit of a party atmosphere by all accords. I'm a bit gutted I won't be able to see the other games involved as the title decider and the relegation battle will probably involve a lot of twists and turns. I hope City win the League and Bolton go down.

I would go with Hart, A. Young, Cahill, Lescott and Walker. Cleverly and Milner in the middle with A. Young and Walcott out wide. Rooney and Sturridge up front.
