Good job your not bitter in any way shape or form Pete  Ellen Mcarthur deserves recognition imo however lesbian or not. IQ for you bit on Ryan Giggs though that was funny and partly true. I totally disagree, Norman entertained the public for many many years, he didn't get his knighthood until he was 85!!!! Jesus, playing football for 20yrs doesnt count him to be knighted.. |

Sportsmen and Women shouldnt be getting Knighthoods imo. However, if we are going to be having sports women and men getting knighthoods etc then yeah I can make a case for Giggs there are far less deserving sports people who have recieved awards from the Queen.

Loads of absolute bollocks, typical the man who says this is a man who is not deserving himself.
I am very against sportmen and women getting shit like this for doing their job, more so when it makes them multi millionairs.
Their are surgeons saving lives and people discovering new ground on cures for diseases, nurses looking after terminally ill people, people giving up their time to looks after all kinds of people and these widley regarded tossers get all the praise for "services to sport".
Ricky Hatton mbe, Joe Calzaghe mbe David Beckham has one for being the biggest money grabber in british sport ffs get a grip.
Am all for the people who do their bits for charity like Botham etc, what the feck have the Charlton brother ever done other than come across as complete pricks?
I don't care if they win the world cup in whatever or not, they never in a million years deserve this "honour".
Really makes my blood boil this type of shite.
