Fedor will retire, I hope he does, he looked terrible in his last fight. If he comes to the UFC at this stage of his career he will turn into Crocop.  Undecided

Depends imo if the end up having cross over fights then the money will be there and he wont actually have to sign to ufc . Fedor vs brock would do crazy ppv even if brock loses his next fight.

Just think in his last fight while looking poor silva just put it all together and when he does that hes a monster.. literally. Cant see fedor retiring although i do hate seeing crocop these days.

Agree with the post though this isnt a good move for mma imo

Looks like Daley will remain at Strikeforce as the contracts of all Strikeforce fighters remain the same. ''Business as usual''
If someone else is making the decisions at Strikeforce and Dana white isn't going to promote or even show up at Strikeforce events...whats the point??

As soon as all of Strikeforces current contracts with Showtime, M-1 etc run out then I expect UFC will get involved and look to merge the two. Until that happens nothing much will change expect with Strikeforce pretty much becoming a fighting ground for fighters UFC doesn't want representing the brand, ie Daley and second string fighters.

Fighters who lose their UFC contract will now just end up shifted onto Strikeforce. Fighters such as Vera, Ortiz, Macheida, Dan Miller, Joe Stevenson. Each of these is perhaps a loss away from being shown the door after recent consecutive loses.

Personally I kinda liked Strikeforce being there as UFC's nearest competition so I am slightly disappointed to hear this. It has been stacking some fairly good cards lately, much better than some UFC cards such as UFC 120. It looked to be gathering steam and potentially pushing UFC to up its game to maintain its vast superiority.

As for Daley, I hear that he is currently reconsidering his next fight with Diaz as he doesn't want to be promoting and fighting on a card which is essentially going to be lining the pockets of the UFC as he knows he has no future with the company. He reckons he may just return to the UK and fight for BAMMA.

Big mistake in my eyes, he has the opportunity to at least show maturity and professionalism many doubt he has and bite his tongue and get on with the job at hand. He may not have a long term future with the company in front of him, but he does have a chance to significantly increase his stock value in North America until any probable merger does occur.

Financially, he can secure much more money than he ever will from moving to BAMMA in a couple of fights with Strikeforce. Also, there is also nothing stopping him from returning to BAMMA in the future whenever his North American run comes to an end as BAMMA will always consider Daley a huge name on their roster, regardless of timing.

It's a no brainer in my eyes, just ride the wave and see what happens.
