Just watching ringside now, his head slowly and smoothly swaying around with those smug expressions on his face. Tit

Maybe not a tv face but to be fair without his input you guys would be moaning about a lot more, like no boxing on sky.
I really don't understand the hatred for this guy, I generally think he is on our side and wants the best for the sport and it's fans, again where would we be without his input ??

What u on about Really ?? This guy stepped up to the plate and is trying to move this C list sport in terms of popularity and coverage with one arm tied behind his back having to please sky as well as the hard core fans. The football comparison is not the there as it's a well oiled mega money macihine. Adam Smith is the guy who is trying to build the machine, true he may not look like Georgie Thompson to please you and others but like I said he generally cares. In terms of the inflated opinion go figure mate.

that was just the timing of him getting the job, sky started getting interested again when setanta went bust and they had no competition anymore, it meant they could get the fights they show now for peanuts instead of going to a bidding war with setanta for them. i dont hail smith for that they are all decisions that are made well over his head, your making him out to be some sort of boxing saviour when he isnt. nobody in any walk of live is irreplaceable, smiths no different.
my opinion is merely that....an opinion. its no more inflated then anyone else that gives an opinion on here. stop being a clown.

So a whole year and a half after Setanta went bust Sky was interested in Boxing again right ?? so who did they appoint to move the machine forward ?? Adam Smith. Now having said yourself the big decisions are made above his head and in your opinion he should not be applauded for the job he has done or is not irreplaceable who in your opinion could do a better job and should be his replacement ?? Im just interested because your criticism of him seems to be very harsh considering you have said yourself Sky make the decsisions not him, and of course that you dont find him attractive. As for the clown comment pot kettle mate

Read my first post and it says i can't understand the hate towards the guy, I think he gets quite a bit of bad press on here and I dont understand why, I think he is doing his best and would love to know who could do better which was my question to Che in response to his other comments not the fact he said he didn't like him. By asking that question I don't see where as you put it I'm over his junk. In regards to taking things personal I haven't in the slightest, as we all know there are more important things in life than this place but I thank you for your concern

In all honesty I have always found Smith good and is so pro the sport it's untrue. Really knowledgable towards geekyness and that sometimes will give him bad press but I would have 200 Adam Smiths to the bag of cack we have over here in Oz who have no clue what they are talking about and their knowledge of the sport is strictly Aussie fighters only. All the haters out there be carefull what you wish for it's boxing, if you want to look at pretty people wait for inbetween rounds
