Not sure if any of you have seen this but since the landlady in poetsmouth won her case about showing football with a foreign decoder the EPL have stopped foreign broadcasters fr showin more than 1 live 3pm game per week.

Each broadcaster gets to pick 1 game which coul mean them all showing the same one. It's very likely they will pick a ge from the following teams

Man Utd
Arsenal
Chelsea
Liverpool
Man city

Watching you club at 3pm down the pub could now be over .

This includes streams as they come via these broadcasters

It all comes into effect with the next 2 weeks (only covers 2pm sat games)

I wouldn't worry too much. A few more years of rapidly declining standard and no one will be watching abroad anyhow. The arse will fall out of the premier league in the next ten years. Hopefully back to the good old division 1, sponsored by ensleigh and presented by elton welsby.

I know mate.  Obviously I understand it's hard for a lot of people nowadays financially as football is one of the most expensive hobbys to follow!  What with familys and bills to pay for.  I know first hand as my dad is a massive Blue but can't afford to get to many games anymore.

The comment was more aimed at the idiots who do my head in behind their computer screens on facebook and that you see or hear from in day to day life.  Bigging up their club or whatever yet they never make the effort to actually go and watch them.  People who make out like they're fans of the club and love them yet aren't bothered about going to watch them.

I'm in a bit of a strange situation really in that I have a seasie but choose not to go most of the time. I prefer watching it with my dad and my lads in the pub and in terms of going the game itself, I get more enjoyment and buzz watching my eldest play of a weekend, he is in the semi final of the north west county cup tomorrow and I've been looking forward to that all week far more than the dire performance I knew we would put in at Sunderland today!

I can understand that tbh, sometimes the people around you make the atmosphere.
Best of luck to your lad tomorrow mate, we won that trophy a few times in the jnrs I think.

Ta mate, playing a cracking side so should be a good game, they used to play the finals at Goodison or Anfield but don't anymore so it sorts of takes the gloss off it but a final is a final and our Lewy is captain so I'd like to see him lift a trophy obviously!

I don't follow football but my brother does and i know how expensive tickets are these days.

Simple solution. Stop paying the players stupid wages and lower the price of tickets. Job done.

My lad has been going the away games to watch Warrington with his mates. £10.50 for the ticket and coach to watch Bradford and then Leeds last night too, that's why Rugby has youngsters watching it and managing to go to away games, football has priced the kids out really, his season ticket was only £60

Would be boss if everyone ground set aside a 'boys pen' like the old days where tickets were dramatically reduced but it's highly unlikely

Interesting that mate especially based on what I've just said because Wigan is the only club in the league that shares the ground for Rugby and Football so they must recognise the amount of youngsters they get in compared to the football

Good on Dave Whelan for doing it, if I wanted to take my lads I could be talking £120 ish for tickets and then the extra's on top of that, how else are they going to experience the togger unless they drop the prices
