He has a meltdown and then flies to LA absolutely shitting his pants cos he's got a bad scratch. How on earth that was 6 or 7 stitches I will never know. Perhaps someone in the med profession can shed light. |

I thought when Ward started talking about the cut at 0.29 how was he doing an interview about the cut before it actually happened  just no sign above the eyebrow of where the cut was. Its just under 3 weeks to the orginal fight date now, anyone know when that interview was done last week maybe? Not saying that Ward should have fought on the 29th and that the tissue maybe isn't 100% healed but from my untrained eyes it looks fine now. |

And wtf....the guys a pro fighter and he had pain relief shots before stitches??? f***ing unreal. When i was 5 i had a car crash and nearly lost my hand, they gave me stitches and i distinctly remember no pain relief....FIVE YEARS OLD!...what an absolute pussy.
Carl would just whip out his 'nam knife and screw the top off for his emergency sewing kit, stich himself up there and then and then get back in to finish the sparring sesh off.
My god, my hatred for this man has just been notched up

Once again - cut & stitches means no sparring. Can't expect anyone to not train properly for a fight of this magnitude. I wouldn't want Carl getting in the ring on the original date without proper sparring.

Ok i think ward makes himself sound a but soft but as Deck points out no sparring and training isn't acceptable for a fight of this magnitude. I dont blame Ward for the fight getting put back, shit happens. I do say that through gritted teeth though as its cost me £400 to re-route to Vegas on the 12th  |

I'm fairly sure Rob will be focusing on training Carl for all eventualities, given how changeable Ward's style is. McCracken will have a proper plan together and hopefully Carl follows it. He's never been steered wrong before. |
