Hold on just a minute... you can't call my logic ridiculous after saying... The fight won't be competitive but Macklin is a worthy contender?

The fights a joke mate plain and simple the same as the barker fight.

I understand your going to have a slight Irish bias for Macklin, even 75% of my family are from Waterford but as far as i'm concerned you want a shot at the best in the division you atleast have to beat a decent contender in that division.

I suppose I'm going to have to repeat myself again. There is no other available contender that is more worthy of a fight against Martinez in March. Whether Macklin will be competitive against Martinez is neither here nor there when there's nobody else to fight.

And whether Macklin is Irish, British, Filipino or Afro Trinidadian and Tobagonian is of no concern to me whatsoever. I'm just dealing with the facts.

Macklin to be trained by McGirt for this fight which is a bad move IMO.

Ah Jaysus no! A change back to a trainer he dropped before. Matthew's biggest downfall has been his constant chopping and changing. In the best period of his career why change back to something that didn't work for you? Only desperation should come into the equation not convenience!
