Since when did losing to a extremely weak champion get you a shot in the same division at best in the weight class...
Sturm didn't travel since De La Hoya but I wouldn't say he was extremely weak. He was a quite capable boxer in my opinion. |

When Pavlik and Abraham were the top dogs in the division he was nothing but one of there victims in waiting, lucky enough for him he managed to stay under the radar and avoided both of them... He's done nothing exceptional just a typical, run of the mill, european stay at home champion. |

Come on Aaron the only reason the guy still has a title is because he's german and the other title holders past or present haven't taken an interest in him... Don't make me out to be a deluded fan with blinkers who can only see one fighter... if a fighter deserves credit i give it to them 75% of the time its other posters that bring Bradley into the discussion when im on the thread to try and get at me... you being guilty of this alot of the time... I give nothing but my honest opinion of each fighter depending on the thread my opinions have nothing to do with Bradley... |

I do actually agree with this post as I remember congratulating you as you were virtually the only guy who picked Kirkland to beat Angulo. So it isn't just Bradley, it's Bradley and Kirkland blinkers you wear  Just joking mate, I've seen you give a fair few guys credit. Although I wouldn't call Sturm a weak champion, he's a actually a decent boxer in my opinion. Just a bit padded and likes his home comforts. |

I ain't never said anything bad about Bradley that I don't genuinly think believe it or not. Me not really rating him is not trying to get at you it is just how I feel about him, added to that he really lacks excitement imo. Tim is a solid fighter but I would say Marquez would still school him if the one that faced Manny turns up. |

Which is really my point on this thread... Tim is fighting someone you and many others believe will school him. On the other hand this is the second Martinez fight in a row where the opponent doesn't even belong in the school in the first place. |

I never said it'll be competitive. All I'm saying is that Macklin is a worthy contender to fight the best Middleweight out there, because Martinez has few other options at the moment. Your logic is ridiculous. |

I understand your going to have a slight Irish bias for Macklin, even 75% of my family are from Waterford but as far as i'm concerned you want a shot at the best in the division you atleast have to beat a decent contender in that division. |
