Kazuto Ioka retains his belt with a first round KO over Chalermchai. Great year for Ioka which began with him winning the WBC 105-lb belt in just his 7th pro fight by upsetting Oleydong Sithsamerchai, followed up with a good win over Juan Hernandez and now this. Only 22 years old and one of the top straweights out there. You could even argue he's number one. Hope the Thai kid's alright. He left on a stretcher.
Some one-sided fights from Japan today, but a couple of good KO's. Nice idea the Japanese have of doing a big fight night on New Year's Eve.
