Bingo! The same one's I've got. It looks great & juices great. I didn't realise until it came it comes with a Jason Vale book which is also very good.
As if on cue, it's just been delivered. I only ordered it yesterday! I got the book as a guide really as i've assumed that some fruit or veg probably tastes like arse when juiced together and i really just wanted some basic recipes that taste half decent. I don't suppose you can go much wrong if you use apple as the base.

no, apples will take the taste away from most things. Just about to have a juice for lunch. The only slight bitch is having to clean the thing after using it!

Yeah, the cleaning is putting me off. I hope it doesn't go the same way as my George Foreman Grill gathering dust in the cupboard.

Whats the veg juices like?
As some of you know, I am on a fitness kick for the past year or so. I was once 25 stone and the take away people knew me by first name. Lost around 3 stone and then I hit a wall dislocated my knee and a whole load of other excuses. My personal life took a turn for the worse recently, broke up with pregnant girlfriend, homeless (not literally but sofa surfing etc) and loads of other shit basically. I can sit here and think of at least 20 excuses why I have put a stone back on but that is all they are, excuses. Back to Gym tomorrow to smash through the wall I hit. Heads not there yet, still very uncomfortable at gyms and in most social enviroments to be honest. But I will get there. Im becoming a father, i owe it to my son to be fit and healthy for him.

I'm making my comeback in the gym tonight, only been twice since my marathon and put a stone on in the process mainly from drinking too much cider and eating too much crap.
Had a weigh in yesterday and came in at 15 st 3 lbs which for someone only a shade over 5ft 8 is way too much. I'm not going to go daft and crash diet, want to make lifestyle changes really - cut back on the ale, stop eating mince pies/chocolate etc and gym 3 times a week will be what i'm going for. I've got just under 6 months until I go to Vegas so want to be no more than 13 stone by 27th June

Push past that social environment thing mate. Firstly, when you get started the social aspect will begin to brush off you like water off a ducks back. Secondly, you have the biggest motivating factor possible in what you have said. One thing which i constantly remind myself now when I hesitate at the thought of going on a run is an occasion a few months back when my overweight friend gave me a little anecdote. I was complaining to him that I hate the idea of people watching me as I run, which when running the roads is very difficult to avoid. Now, it needs to be remembered that this guy is significantly larger than I. He after i confided in him my insecurities tells me of how he himself often tries to run, and i emphasise the fact that he tries (he is over 20st). But importantly he has it in his head that if anyone else sees him out running they will subsequently influence them to believe that if he can get out and run, then anyone can.

In regards to myself, I am going to go nuts on the exercise. I haven't been able to box for over 6 months so I now play a bit of rugby. As a potential center I need to maintain my fitness but also throw on a bit more bulk.
Got all the weights I need but I just need to keep the motivation up and not ease off. I will also need to get off the alcohol. My birthday coincides with the festive period so I am just off a series of about 14-17 days of drinking and eating terribly. However I have sporadically kept up the exercise in that period.

Yardy Have you watched fat sick & nearly dead? If not have a look at it, gives you a great insight into juicing and how it changed a couple guys lives. He inspires a truck driver in part 2 who takes up the challenge with great results. Like I've said before, Im not a massive veg eater. But had this morning, apple, cucumber, yellow pepper, lemon, carrot juiced and tasted quite nice! I much prefer the fruit juices like apple, pear, lemon which tastes amazing! Good luck mate

Did my first day today, stuck to the 'diet' too and drunk loads of water, had a cup of tea with milk and sweeteners this morning but I'm going to try and avoid that altogether

You'll get there. It's always better to come down slowly if your 20+ otherwise you'll not look good with it. Just aim for 17st by next Xmas - that's about 12lb a month, or 2.5-3lb a week. What types of bad stuff you eat? And do you stay good all day and binge late at night?

Because of my job I tend to eat late in the evenings and its never really good. The vending machine at work only has chocolate and crisps etc as well which ive been using alot past couple of months. Bread is my biggest vice, love the stuff. Takeaways etc. Yesterday was my first day of better eating. I had a baked potato for lunch with beans and for dinner I had chicken breast and brocolli and snacked on monkey nuts. Going to the Gym at lunchtime today. Never been a breakfast person. I got some Pro MR that I am going to take again. Its actually quite nice and fills you up nicely.
