Is there different types of jailbreak software

Looking on eBay they seem to have different packages

The ice films app no longer works as it connects to mega upload which was closed down

How do you tune this into your tv?

Is just your usual cable from the apple box into the tv?

Yes connects with a hdmi cable

Questions I have are

Is it easy to keep it updated

Is the free cable stuff live ?

Is there a flash enabled web browser ?

I sometimes watch streams from a website that is iPhone compatible will these work on this browser

Thanks

Lots of info coming in for this

I am told the browser doesn't work with flash.

The films are still working but nt as many as before, new upload site being used

X-Nito also has films and shows on it.

Im not sure i understand what the big deal is.

I mean, i can see the appeal of having movies on your phone, watching on holiday in your apartment as long as they have a hdmi television.

But i get films all the time, plug them through surround sound amp and thus watch them on big screen via laptop. No issues with flash, buffering etc.

My point is you dont need extra gizmo's to do this.

Right, I got it all set up last night and have been getting my head around it all. Starting to feel like im getting somewhere!

It's an amazing bit of kit, Vevo is brilliant! watch and listen to any artist you like. Icefilms isn't as good without megaupload but Navi-x has so much on it now.

Just waiting to sign up to a streaming site so I can watch a decent stream. www.liveonlinefooty.com is apparently the best site but they only take on new customers every few months! so trying to find another site. Another used flash sports stream before?

If I can find a good sports streaming site i'll be cancelling sky sports and everything else i pay £60 per month for! and get the same for about £3 per month.

Its likely that over a certain amount of users seeded into their stream, it will get choppy and the quality will diminish.

Especially if they use a 3rd party site like Ustream or whatever, as when the users increase, so does the bandwidth being used - and then it gets throttled back and you end up with a flakey stream.

I'd rather have it like that Red than having a shitty stream. Will have to wait a month or so before I get the chance to sign up. Though everyone raves about how good it is.
