Reasonable win for Leeds. Didn't play too well but Watkins showed some serious promise yet again. He's done some serious bulking up in the off season too!
Surprised at some results. Hudds have a back of starting their seasons well and falling off towards the last stretch though. Not too shocking to see them win today.
What you guys think of the I-Pitch? The players don't seem to enjoy cutting their knees to ribbons!
Think the ipitch is a load of shite by the looks of it, whys it neccisary? I havnt seen Watkins this year but it's usually the case ie. bulking up once they break through. Once they make the first team out comes the growth hormone

Once they make the first team out comes the growth hormone He made his debut at about 17. Missed a lot of action through various injuries though! He's still got his pace but has added some power. Looks good for the future. May be a lean year for Ryan Hall this year outside Zack Hardaker too. Hopefully they'll both get time at centre as they could mature into some stars IMO. pitch does seem stupid. I didn't see the game on tv as I was at Headingley. Another note.. WHAT THE F*ck is this margin meter?! What a joke!!!

I dont think I would have wanted to play on a ipitch when I was playing 20 years ago but times change. I remember playing at Widnes St Maries in 1990 and its was -3c and 6inch deep in snow and we were only 11 year old kids certainly sorts the men from the boys at a early age that kind of weather. As for that Margin Meter its just stupid and proves F*ck all. A team like Saints could be 24 down and score 30 uninterupted points in 15 minutes and teams like London, Wakefield and Hull blow leads for fun in big games.

Seen Watkins play mate just mean I havnt seen him recently since you said he's bulked up. Zack Hardaker looks a decent prospect, he's local where I live and played with my younger brother, just needs a bit of time to mature a bit. I think Ben Jones Bishop is one of the best prospects you've got coming through. Any news on senior yet? Last I heard Leeds offered him a pay as you play but he was holding out for a full time deal somewhere, talking about putting out a Owen Hargreaves type Fitness video out

We could do with Senior till the end of the season we are woefully short in the centres at the moment. We have promoted 2 wingers to the centres but they lack size and our defence in pre season as been stretched badly.

Senior rejected the pay as you play offer. I'm shocked he hasn't ended up at Wakey or something though. Would've liked to kept him around at Leeds as a mentor for our 2 rookie centres.
Tito, who is your team again??

Really looking forward tonight, this is the difference for me between Rugby and Football, i just wouldn't be that arsed about a Champions League or Super Cup Final my team weren't playing in

Exactly, pure entertainment. Last season I'd happily sit and watch championship games on Thursday nights too with the likes of fev and Leigh.

I'm a Wiganer but tonight I will be cheering on the Rhinos who after all are representing SL and British rugby league. I will never understand why people would shout for a Aussie team in a WCC (Aaron ). Manly have a fantastic squad they are a rich club in terms of history and success they played in the first ever WCC which I went to at Wigan in 1987 a brilliant game that Wigan won without scoring a try. If you want to look at how good Manly are they have about 8 ANZAC Internationals and for me they could win heavily tonight even though they have had no game time since October. Cherry - Evans is the heir apparant to Lockyer's International shirt a first class player and a brilliant playmaker. Kieran Foran is a great scrum half and we all know about Jamie Lyon but for me the real danger man is Tony ''T REX'' Williams a monster of a man at 6ft4 and 18 stones. He scored 2 tries against NZ in the 4 nations in 2011 and he is just a wrecking ball. He is awesome in defence and simply if he is running with the ball at pace 10 yds out no one is stopping him.

Tito again on your point above, I'd never cheer for United for example in any final (or game) yet Rugby it's defo a case of British over anything else

I am not that arsed who wins, I just hope someone sticks one on Ryan Bailey. If that happens then the world is the winner.

Football fans mentality is far different to Rugby fans mentality. You can't say there isn't the same level of passion at a Wigan - Saints derby than a Merseyside, Manchester or Tyne Wear derby its just the rugby lot know how to behave and treat the game with the respect that it deserves.

I hope Leeds win, despite not being a cas fan and Leeds being big rivals. For me it's an England Australia contest, rather than a club contest.

Aaron I can't stand bailey when it's super league, but in an England shirt or tonight I hope he puts himself about
