Very honest of you sevens Grin

Only the horrible Pies playing well so far this year, everyone else is just having spells rather than consistant performances.

Warrington 12 up after 6 mins Leeds are just on the ropes what I said earlier about getting caught out out wide as just happened twice. If Jamie Peacock was a honest man he would retire from international football he is just to heavy legged. I am a massive fan of Peacock but its sad seeing him on the decline.

Warrington built up a good early lead but went off the boil and let Leeds edge back into it. The difference between good teams and great teams is that once they got in front they should have never took the foot off the pedal. I don't think Warrington have that fear factor like they had last year they are winning but not doing it in ruthlessly.

Did you listen to Tony Smiths interview afterwards?

I avoided the match. Seen the result and the crap from my mates on Facebook crying about it.

Tony Smith was probably very honest. He's normally very gracious in victory and defeat

No why

Wasn't exactly happy for the reasons you mentioned and basically said the team is still on edge which sort of explains some of the decision making. They were devastating and ruthless in the first half and there were plenty of times last season were that carried on into the second half but it hasn't this season apart from a couple of occasions

Smith was basically saying there were still nerves there, there was a point during the 2nd half were Briers kicked a drop goal and I was shaking my head cos we were near the line and should have pushed for the try, the camera panned to Smith and he wasn't happy at all so it's not coming from him, it's experienced players like Briers too

He also said we haven't played injured players like we did last year and I think that is with the idea of finishing strongly, I know we're not the only team but we haven't had our strongest team out for many games all season, Mike Monaghan, Myler have been big misses for example

I thought Gareth O'Brien was immense as was Riley so at least there is some positives there!

Great result today for us and the game was closer than the result suggested. I watched a bit of it on a french stream and it looked like Catalans had some decisions go against them.
On a disappointing end though Brett Finch as decided to move on at the end of the season. I was aware of a rumour going around this afternoon but treated it as a rumour rather than fact. The club announced it 30 mins ago and it seems he is going back home with possibly a coaching role thrown in as well. I don't know if Rangi Chase is being lined up but I have seen a lot of talk today suggesting he is.

As far as I'm aware chase has got to spend at least one more year at Cas after this year as part of his conditions from when he was up in court in Australia for breaking someone's jaw last year, I don't know the details but I believe it's something to do with work permit conditions and not being able to re-apply yet.

More like he as to remain in Castleford to suffer hardship and put something back into the community. Grin

That will be why he's not seemed at his best this year then, his community service playing at Cas is getting him down Grin
