I hope Matty Smith signs for Wigan he is a solid player and a good team asset. He is versatile enough to play in 4 positions and I think him and Tomkins could gel together quite well. Its not good for Wigan that losing Finch and Leuluai together leaves us short in 2 key positions but if you bring in team players they just slot in and adapt quickly. I just hope Chase isn't a option he is totally the opposite of what Wigan require.
As for last night I think the reason Wigan lost was because they didn't take Bradford seriously. I looked at the 17 and there was a few players brought in from u21s who didn't perform and O'Loughlin at 6 is something alien to him. Fair play to the Bulls though they have done the double over Wigan and if it can give them a boost fair enough. I think Tony Smith and Shaun Wane have seen that you have to rest players in between internationals and with both teams playing in a semi final in a few weeks you don't want players to burn out with a place at Wembley at stake.

Bradford are officially F***ed right up now. Administrators have made non playing staff redundant. RFL weren't informed, don't even think players knew.

Tragic stuff

They look snookered big time. Through all this I always expected them to pull through, you just don't expect to see a club that big go under but looks like they will. I've heard rumours Halifax are the team on stand by to join super league

Yes but with money virtually non existant and no investors in place they probably had no option to ask people to work for nothing. I don't blame Potter and co from walking away because no one should work for nothing and these people are hardly rich. I think Brian Noble is likely to do the job for nothing and if they survive I can see him becoming full time head coach but I honestly don't see them surviving.
Bradford creditors are building up they have under played the situation so bad its no wonder investors are sceptic about how bad the reality of it is.

If you think that is bad look at McNamara's team with the Exiles. Wilkin captain, JJB loose forward, Ratchford at FB and no call up for McIlorum or Goulding. I just can't believe how the RFL think this Guy can bridge the gap between the ANZAC's and us its getting wider and wider with this clown in a job.

Didn't see the game because I'm on nights, but I'm utterly f***ing disgusted with that result. Milward out for me, not even due to results to be honest, it's because he just seems to be making one bad decision after another. His man management has been Piss poor, letting Richie Mathers go and making him train with the academy whilst he tried to offload him, leaving us with Richard Owen. Playing Stuart jones and rangi chase at hooker when we've got 2 off the best prospects at 9 in the league in Milner and Clark along with an experienced head in Hudson, pressuring Kirk Dixon to play when he was due for heavy spinal surgery, and then there's the whole Rangi Chase situation. Rangi's well know for liking a drink ect locally, but at the same time you have to deal with people individually, I think Milwards just gone about it all wrong. Look at his performances this year compared to last and it's night and day. From what I hear locally around town and stories about players ect no one there gives a F*ck this year, my dad knows mcgoldrick pretty well and his words were his time to do something big in the game has gone, he's just picking up a wage, that seems the attitude of most this year. That's a big fault on the part of the players, but it's the coaches job to motivate these players, something Terry Matterson did a damn site better. No one in Cas expects us to be winning finals ect but we've always challenged for play off places and were a C*** hair away from a challenge cup final last year. I'm honestly just disgusted with this season.

Saints sign Turner, we have to get excited about signings as we don't seem to make half as many as other teams.

And so the Jamie Lyon rumours go quiet for another 12 months Grin

Good signing for Saints that I have a lot of respect for Turner he is a solid player. I think Turner will be a key signing next year and Saints have put together a decent squad for 2013 so far. As for Lyon forget the whole notion he will return the aussie dollar means he would have to take a huge paycut to play in SL and I can't see any top player in the NRL ever playing SL again.
