Im really not sure, obviously if he stayed and started to rip it up again Id be fickle as F*ck and be his biggest fan but I do think maybe its a little bit too far gone. He obviously wants to leave and perhaps we'd function better as a team without him if hes being disruptive. I expect him to go at the end of the year anyway now, just be interesting to see if Milward picks him now the suspension has been lifted. Theres rumours it may be Danny Orrs last season too and he might be retiring so theres going to be a lot of change at cas next year in playing personnel. Im also getting fed up with us being a feeder club for Hull too now, Westerman, Aspinwall, Mcgoldrick, Arundel and then they were after Chase. I wouldnt mind but we're shite  |

Be interesting to see if Millward stays too. I'm not sure he will, which will affect recruitment.
Mick Potter is looking for work, Brian Noble I think will be tempted back shortly and Tony Rea is back in SL on an interim basis at Broncos.
Your young hooker wants out too doesnt he, Clarke I think his name is? Looks a really good player, I'd have him at Leeds if we don't make Lunt's move permenant

Super League Supermen tonight is well worth a watch with the legendary Alex Murphy one of the greatest players ever. Murph the mouth as he is known is a real character and pulls no punches it should be good TV. I have seen him at a few sportsmans dinners he tells some really funny stories one about Kelvin Skerrett nearly made me choke laughing !.

Sean Long has signed a player deal with Salford and is 'on hand to help wherever needed' due to Smith leaving.. Which also is due to huge financial troubles at Salford (think on a Bradford scale apparently)

They are trying to pick the club up on the cheap and make sure they are still in SL for the remainder of there license. I agree with you a lot of clubs have struggled in recent years while others like Halifax, Leigh and Barrow have put forward solid claims for a license but lost out to established SL clubs. The way the Bulls management and lately the administrators have handled this as been horrific for there fans and players. If they do go under it probably will be for the best they have lost a lot of integrity within the game and a lot of SL chairmen want them excluded. I know Lenaghan as said he is keeping out of it but there is 6 or 7 others that want them out. |

Leeds have donated all proceeds of tickets sold at the Bulls ticket office to them. So I think we can see what side Hetherington is on there!
I fear that this group who are after the bulls are just after the ground really. There isn't one person in the consortium with an ounce of sport management knowledge that I've heard about. Look at Leeds, Wigan, Saints all ran by people who know their stuff, this is what sets them apart.
As a Leeds united fan I can sympathise with the Bulls fans. They've basically done a Ridsdale. It's disgraceful

I think this season is pretty much a write off now, needs a good pre season under his belt, get knuckled down and back to work. Hes showed flashes of ability this year but no where near enough. Hes not handled the success very well apparently if you speak to anyone around Cas and hes let it go to his head, hopefully this year has been a wake up call
I was driving over to my dads house tonight and listening to the sport show for the humber region - there was an interview with the Hull owner and he was talking about the Chase transfer failing - he was saying it was due to a change in law recently, however he was confident of the signing happening. Apparently he has a child wo is a British citizen so would be odd for them to refuse the Visa in the long run... He also mentioned that they are really looking to bankroll hull next year and have 4 targets for 2 positions, "quality players, and we are not scared of paying transfer fees".... "We will sign 2 of the targets, top quality creative players, and we all know the best ones are currently tied up on long term contracts,....we are close on 1... nothing will be announced until september" He was saying they do not want to be scrapping for last playoff place again and are going to make signings to move them significantly up the league... |

No one enjoys playing at the KC and with a few top class players they would climb the table pretty easy. I think they will be disappointed to lose Jordan Turner he is top class but who knows they could recruit some top names in the future.

Your post reminded me of another couple of things the owner mentioned in the interview - he was saying the of the players they lost this year there was 1 they wanted to keep, but the rest they were hapy to see go, and all the signings (short term this year) and those coming in were the managers decisions and it would be his team next with the signings all his decision... |

Hull certainly look like they're going to be a force next year.
Brett Ferres has gone to the Giants, it was a bad kept secret he was going around Cas but was expecting it to be for next year. He'll be a big loss, nothing spectacular but a very solid player.
