I am English but I hope Wales win because they play the game the right way and have some top class backs like Davies, North and Halfpenny. They are a really physical side and England wont live with them at this point in time. I bet the boyos in the Valleys will be creaming themselves when England face them because The English team is full of inexperienced players and a Coach who as been in place and will not get the job on a full time basis. If Wales beat England by 30 points I wouldnt at all be surprised. I think the French may just be to strong for Wales but for me Wales are the real danger team Ireland couldn't pin them down and they were break though at ease at times.

Toying with the idea of taking the mrs to the match this weekend as she is over to me anyway and its only 2 hours on the train. Tickets still available...via ebay.
Anyone been to a match at Stade De France? Any recommendations on hotels to stay in and where to go of the daytime? / late evening? And places to avoid.
Never been to Paris and know very little about the place, so any advice would be great.

Gutted for you mate. Hope it wasn't too difficult to get back into Paris again? I don't know about them forking out that kind of money for undersoil heating. A more sensible start time would have solved it most likely though!!

Left the stadium (where we were seated) at around 10pm (watched the Irish team play a bit of tag and warm down etc). French side nowhere to be seen. Then walked out and headed up the road. It was mobbed by the station so me and the mrs just strolled in the general direction of town. Eventually got a taxi after a out 40mins walking in the cold...back the hotel at 11.30pm, watched match of the day and that was about it. (We'd caught a chill and were so deflated, coudnt be arsed going out on the tear...plus we were up at 9 to head home).. Not sure when the reply is 2nd or 3rd....and whether or not I will go or not. Imagine ebay will be jammed with tickets from Irish supporters not going 2nd time around. Yes...Deck100% an earlier start time would of solved it. Apparently it (9pm start) was down to French TV callingthe shots. Shower of fookin pricks

gutted for you and all who made the trip,i think it was the french who realy didnt want to play in them conditions, like kidney said in the interveiw the irish boys were ready to go in the changing rooms. england v italy looked even worse conditions but they still played. in that new stadium they cant put in underfloor heating due to old gas works. trouble is now for ireland support will be low in the stands when they do play

I expect Wales to do the Grand Slam this year. Easily the best 15 on paper, and a squad of serious depth and talent. I don't want them to win, but I just can't see anybody beating them.
England have aimed for 3 wins and I think they wills scrape that final 3rd win on the last weekend of the tournament against the Irish.
I think the final table will look something like...
1. Wales 2. France 3. England 4. Ireland 5. Scotland 6. Italy.
