Be bloody brilliant if this comes off, i've been waiting for this fight for a while now. I personally feel experience will tell at this stage and Munroe would triumph - just. A close points decision but Scott would learn a hell of a lot from it and go on to better things.

I like both fighters so wouldn't be upset whoever won, just get it on please

I think it would definitely be an interesting fight.  I'd probably give the edge to the youth of Quigg.  I've always supported Rendall but since his would title shot his opponents have been of a lower quality on each subsequent outing.  I'm just not sure if at this stage of his career he is properly focused given that he also looked at changing weight class and the opted to remain at Super Bantam.

Good fight, would hopefully be attending.

Quigg to win, i dont think he fought anywhere near his best last time out.

Youth prevails in this fight towards the latter rounds  Wink

Step back for Munroe.

Quigg is a step forward from Munroe's last three opponents!

True, however Quigg hasnt even challenged for a European Title, Munroe was just building himself back up again. He could easily get a World Title shot again, too high risk low reward this for Munroe, Quigg should see how he does with Kiko Martinez first.

Its an interesting fight where a great case could be made for either. And its a good fight, but i don't want to see it yet.

Think both have the potential to go onto bigger things and would rather see them clash with a major title on the line that one possibly get eliminated now. I feel sorry for Munroe in that he fought creditably against the Nishioka, so well in fact that nobody wanted to give him another crack......meanwhile a guy he's KO'd now holds a world title.

didn't Hatton basically say he'd make this fight if he couldn't get the World title shot for Munroe?

Good fight which I'll pick Quigg for. Like both of them though as most people seem to. A good honest fight with 2 down to earth lads. Great stuff!

Fighting guys like Saez isn't going to build Munroe back to anything.  At least Quigg has a few decent rankings and could get Rendall's name back in the mix.

Straight from the Amir Khan school of economics.

Its a good fight for both fighters.

Whats Amir Khan got to do with this Irishman?

If your making the point that Amir didnt challenge for European Honours, theres a far difference between Khans level and Quiggs Khan was a Olympic Silver Medalist and had beaten the best Amateur of all time. Can Quigg say that. Dont ruin this topiclike you and a few have the previous ones. If nobody agrees with what I said as it being a step back for Munroe I would be astounded. That doesnt bate an Amir Khan story.

After Johansson beat Burns, Burns then fought about 7 journey men and look what thats done for him, its all about mental belief in this game everything else comes 2nd.

The way Munroe fought against whoever the guy was he fought last (was it the guy who had hairy shoulders???) that would DAMAGE confidence!
