Stepping into the ring for the first time this weekend. Been training for it the last eight weeks. Not sure how I feel. Mix of Nerves and excitement. 750 tickets sold for the night and I'm the last fight. Roll on Saturday!!  Smiley

What weight class?

Heavy. I'd be 6'4'' and 14 stone 12 pounds. Only a novice. Play football, but this got organised for some of us. If it goes well I'll train for the National Novices at the end of the year. If I take whooping I'll stick to the football  Grin

Sparring and training has gone very well, hopefully I just remember to keep the hands up.

Just jab for the first half-round, remember to breathe.

Go through it in your mind, even practice your movement in the ring. Imagine your ring walk, getting in, everything. Get it square in your mind.

Don't get excited like your the next big thing, like what's the best ring music etc etc. sod all that mate - just know what you have to do.
