Of course a prime Vitali walks through Haye a prime Tyson would have beat many a fighter but its not then its now and Haye Vs Vitali is a good match up and a fight I'd personally like to see who else is there that's even a slightly more interesting fight ?

I totally disagree with you on the Wlad Haye fight neither man did anything that night yes Wlad put slightly more pressure on but I guess that was pressure Wlad style eh ? He got in range throw a shot covered up and looked to me as if he was scarred of Haye's power and lets be totally honest the fight was boring.

Haye didn't fight that way against Barrett or Ruiz and TBH he did nothing for three rounds against Harrison sprung into action and KO'd the guy so hardly a great comparison.

I'm not Haye's biggest fan but he gets people into boxing sure last nights not great for the image of the sport but its on the front page of national news papers and if Haye Vs Delboy is made the casual fan will tune in and THAT is good for the sport.

If you watch the clip back Delboy walks down taking his jacket off if I'd been arguing with some guy and he walked toward me taking his jacket off I'd think oh aye here we go. He should have stayed in his seat and security should have removed Haye and Booth the point was made.

We now could get a series of European heavyweight fights between four of five fighters and what is good for boxing is there time roughly ten o'clock on a Saturday night. Haye IMO would KO Delboy he's the type of fighter that suits Haye's style which is of course adaptable sets up a Vitali fight and if Haye won I'll repeat a rematch with Wlad becomes massive.

This is bang on, I just said about the jacket thing 5 mins ago to somebody.

******'s just been on SS banging on about how Haye threw the first punch.  Yes but Frank, Chisora was the one who got up, walked 20 yards over to Haye, taking his jacket off in the process.  I'm sorry but when somebody walks over to you and takes their jacket off, you know shits about to go down.

Exactly, a pre emptive strike is still a form of self defense, you don't have to wait for the other guy to hit you first to defend yourself. The whole scuffle is being blown way out of proportion and is nothing new, the issue is what chisora was saying

Exactly, it's just a bit of handbags at the end of the day.  Ok Adam Booth got hit with a tripod but it was his own fighter who did it, and there's plenty of people I imagine who are glad he got belted by it ha!

There are so many worse cases in boxing over the years where nothing came of it, this is just people being tossers and blowing the whole thing way out of proportion.

It'll do the division a lot of good in the long run I reckon.

Rubbish he wasn't even talking to Del boy before it kicked off he was goading Vitali.

Grin And he shot himself in the foot (or toe Wink), When a fight with Del got suggested he shit his pants!

'Im not fighting you'

'Youre coming off te back of 3 losses'

He had no interest in Del at all, What a difference a day makes! Grin

When did Haye ever want a fight with Chisora though?

Bad blood is now the only reason a fight between them makes sense.

Haye only ever wanted a fight with Vitali and I doubt that's changed.

First thing haye saw an opportunity to get the chance to hype another title fight.wich he has no right to as he lost the last one.it was chisora,s press conference so he should have kept his mouth shut.it kicked off so will now be an instant ticket seller.chisora has always been a loose cannon and haye has proved to be what I have always thought of him.klitcho is also on the way out ,so I would,nt be surprised if he announces his retirement soon.

dont blame haye to be honest, when someone as unpredictactable as chisora comes towards you taking his jacket off probably best to get your shots off first rather than wait to see what that lunatics going to do.

Just read Ron Lewis of The Times say that Haye did NOT bottle Chisora as Derek has claimed, Ron was right in the thick of it by the sounds!!

Watching the video back once again, all I can say is that I am extremely disappointed by the fact that Haye punched Chisora with a J20 bottle in his hand. It's an absolute disgrace! He should have been holding a WKD bottle, cos they could have used the footage for one of their typical 'wicked boys night out' adverts...

Interesting video. What should happen now.....

Haye should get the Vitali fight that he's agreed terms too and Boente should stop trying to prevent that. Just get the f***ing fight fought.

Of course we then have all the rematch clause shit to sort out, but ideally the winner of Haye/Vitali should just meet Chisora. Grudge fight either way, and Chisora deserves to fight either a rematch against Vitali or have a British blockbuster against Haye.

Regarding the criticism of Haye in the brawl. Well Haye had a bottle in his hand, so no surprise that went in. You don't really get time to ask for an intermission and calmly place your bottle down when its kicking off. Anything goes.........but in fairness Haye appeared to throw a punch whilst holding the bottle rather than trying to smash the bottle across Chisora's head/face. He's lucky he didn't slice his hand open. But no way would i call that a bottling.

It was an ugly incident but of course it was going to go off. Got two fighters squaring up publicly with tempers exploding all around. Both were angry and neither could be seen to back down even if they wanted too. If that was to be prevented then there is no way that they should have been allowed to get so close in the first place. There was enough people there to stop that happening and apparently there was security in there too.

But as many people as will be tutting and shaking their heads publicly, there will be a great many who'll privately be rubbing their hands together with glee....the rights or wrongs of the brawl notwithstanding, the heavyweight division is finally heating up after years of being freezing cold!

And from the British perspective, well Haye and Chisora are the two most attractive opponents out there for the Klitschko's by some way. And a fight between Haye/Chisora would be pretty big now too. If that was a rain cloud over British boxing and the sport....well i reckon its got a silver lining!  Wink

Nothing personal, mate, but that is utter bollox frankly.  Folk who support this kinda stuff have got American wrestling and Jeremy Kyle they can watch FFS.  I am utterly amazed at how many people I thought to be serious boxing fans, think this is all Ok.
1.  So you don't regard that as a proper 'bottling' then?  Great, but let's forget the bottle for a minute and turn our attentions to the attack with a camera tripod, which caused injury to his own trainer/manager, and could've been a whole lot more serious.  Do you rate that as a proper 'tripodding' then?
2.  Why were these two 'squaring off publicly' at all?  There's no history between them, Chisora is not on the supposed Haye comeback list, and there was no reason for it whatsoever, other than to appeal to the base instincts of those who would be better off behind bars!
3.  You call THIS the Heavyweight Division finally heating up?  That is about the dumbest thing I've heard on the subject ever!  If it is to 'hot up', we need someone to challenge the undoubted talents of the two guys who stood bemused watching the disgraceful spectacle being put on by these British idiots.
4.  Boxing is a sport, and as with any sport relies heavily upon the discipline it requires to be successful.  I'm not entirely sure you'll understand that, but the key is DISCIPLINE.  None of which was present with these numpties.  For folk to glorify this utter shite beggars belief and serves further to convince me that the once noble sport which I have loved has no place in modern society.  How proud I am today to be old fashioned!

why are people even surprised / appalled when this kind of thing happens in boxing?? its always happened and always will! frazier/ali.... tyson/lewis.... chisora/ everybody in the current heavyweight division  Grin

i love it! doesnt discrace the sport at all... we're talking about a sport that people not fans view as violence anyway, it sells tickets. casual fans will tripping over themselves to be at the next chisora fight, not bad considering before the weekend they'd likely never even heard of him haha.

fair play that man.
