There is every reason to question him.The sad truth is that horses get tested more stringently than boxers. To me this is a very obvious case of a man who needs to be rigorously tested. If a marathon runner smashes his PB by 15 seconds what happens? If a long jumper beats the rest of the field by a foot what happens? If a swimmer comes from nowhere and hammers his pb what happens? Alexander was completely different last night. Even against Urango he looked shite before he pulled out that monster shot. Against Witter nothing special either.

As per usual people would rather bury their hands in the sand. I used to blindly defend Pac as i was a huge fan. The truth is that he needs to be tested very badly too. Its pre historic and embarrassing.

I'm not saying he doesn't need to be tested.  You're bang on when you say that he needs to be thoroughly tested, there's no questioning that, but for me to say he's on PED's, just by assumptions, would be disrespectful in my opinion.

Obviously you know i'm pro Mayweather, but it's the same situation with Manny, i've never once accused him of being on steroids or PEDs, simply because it's disrespectful to his achievements.  I think before anybody jumps to conclusions there needs to be concrete evidence of a wrong doing.

I agree too. Although I'm very suspicious I still cant say for sure. In my opinion it all points to it but untill things catch up these things will be swept under the carpet. Alexander is just amother on the ever growing list of boxers that have huge question marks surrounding them. Its worrying that its a trend in young fighters now. Chavez is undoubtedly up to somehting too.

The reason he looked so good was the fact that Maidana isn't that good and nothing to do with PED's.Maidana is just a class below him and nothing more. The Alexander last night would probably still get beat by Bradley.Look at the apponent and realise you were wrong about him before accusing a fighter of such a serious crime.

Find a post where I ever said that Maidana was anything but a big puncher? Find a post where I said Maidana was in the class of Khan. Simply thought the man could soak up punishment and had a big punch. Which he has shown on numerous occasions.

Actually find a post where I said Alexander was guilty... What I said is its suspicious and he needs to be tested badly. If he can pass that then kudos to him.

In my opinion if he was clean, he would have offered himself forward when accused, instead of playing coy , hiding behind his trainer and talking of secret 'Spartan Training Camps'. All smoke and mirrors in my 'opinion'.

People seem to just want to pretend that half of todays boxers would probably fail tests. Hence, testing CANT be brought in.

In a previous post you stated Maidana would have too much for Alexander and could be an early night then because you were wrong you state he needs to be tested badly. The fact is Maidana isnt as good as you thought he was and Alexander is just simply better than him.Maidana just isnt that good and Malignaggi would probably beat him.Thats how much i rate him.

I didnt think Chisora would go the distance with Klit but im not mentioning PED's,i accept the fact my prediction was wrong. We cant call for fighters to get extra testing because we called a fight wrong. The list would be endless.

who cares if he was juiced up.. he was dull and will always be dull.

maidana if a little more skilled could have caused him big problems.

broner on the other hand was exceptional, I am looking forard to seeing another fight of his, he has excitement, skill and power! Even though i usually hate showboating, he has a bit of cheek with his and I like the way he backs it up.

I thought Maidana would catch him. However I ament going to go around saying this due to sour grapes. I had nothing against Alexander but I do think there is a case here. This is nothing to do with Maidana losing, I didnt accuse Khan of anything.... I mentioned all this before the fight too. Dont put me in the same basket as all the nut huggers who will do anything to make an excuse.

The fact is that rumours came from somewhere, there was a secret training camp, the Alexander camp was very coy about the whole situation. never mentioned a voluntary test(If i was accused of something I didnt do I'd gladly provide evidence along with a massive f*ck you to the accuser). I've watched at least seven or eight Alexander fights, as have most I'd say and he looked completely different to any of them. Its not just down to putting on a few pounds in my opinion.

All I'm saying is there is a question mark there, along with Chavez Pacquiao, probably 90% of HW's and others and I'm sick of the sport treating itself in a filthy and disgraceful manner. The current methods probably wouldnt have been up to date 20 years ago. Its so easy for a fighter to do it.

They should start the ball rolling by forcing Pac to take them from now on. Lead from the top.

The truth is that the organisations know full well that their would be a mountain of positive tests, probably even worse than when they started testing properly in Cycling. The sport would be f*cked then.

Im all for drug testing and think the commission need to be alot stricter in how they approach big fights.I just find it harsh to try and judge a fighter with no evidence and take away from a good performance.I didnt see anything last night that i didnt expect because i gave my opinion on Maidana a couple of days ago and how much i rate him.Personally i think things will improve over the next couple of years with Promoters, fighters, coaches and everyone involved in boxing taking a stand.Over the last year more and more fighters are talking about stricter testing which is a good thing.

Chuck Norris must be doped up considering he wants the new Expendables film to be a PG movie and is against swearing now. That dude is just not cool. Sorry Chuck.  Grin

Anyway, good win for Alexander. I thought it was going to be tight because of Devon's supposed lack of heart but Alexander won more or less every round. Maidana's garbage. I've always said it. He has a lot of power but very limited skill and he seems to repeat his mistakes.
