I'm actually inclined to agree with that.
Especially the part about defending himself. If a loose cannon like Chisora walks over to you, taking his jacket off on the way, who knows what he's going to do?
I was thinking to myself the other day he probably would actually kill somebody. He seems like the type of guy that has something like that in his locker.

When Delboy got up and walked toward Haye taking his jacket off he wasn't going over to compare knitting patterns. Haye could have walked away but Chisora wanted a fight then got one. There is footage on Yahoo of Vitali applauding Haye and shaking Haye's hand when Chisora is still screaming all sorts. Someone had to plant one on Chisora.

I have no time at all for the conduct of Chisora throughout this whole tawdry business - the slap, spitting in the face of Wlad (utterly disgusting), approaching Haye menacingly at the presser. About the only thing you can say for him is that at no time did he use any kind of weapon. Now, on to Haye. Bottle in his hand when punching? Vicious attack with a camera tripod? The actions of a malicious coward, which reduces him lower than even Chisora, and that's saying something. Then, like the coward he is, he flees Germany under cover of the dead of night and suddenly resorts to Las Vegas to sidestep the awkward questions and the authorities. I wouldn't Piss on either of them if they were on fire frankly.

Chisora is a dick and Haye could have walked away.
But regardless of the above. No one did anything to prevent this from happening and that is the real crying shame there. Before anyone criticizes either boxer, point your fingers at the on site security and Chisora's team for allowing it to happen.

The show in which this interview came from was just as biased as the JR show with Amir Khan. It tried to portray Haye as the good guy without hearing two sides of the story.
