35 now, knocking on in boxing terms. Still looking good in the ring but have to wonder when its going to catch up. I know alot think otherwise but personally I dont want to see him beat by someone who couldnt beat him a few years ago, Id rather he was out before then.

I hope the racist low life chokes on his cake. Speaking of racism... he's at it again, with his racially motivated comments on NBA star Jeremy Lin. Dana white hits the nail on the head in regards to Floyd with this recent but classic rant.

All he said about the NBA guy was that a lot of fuss surrounded him because he was Asian, I don't watch NBA but I don't see that as a racist myself.
Depending on how good the player is it might be stupid and not true, I don't see it as racist though.

Floyd was reacting to the asian guy being compared to Michael Jordan and that he has a long way to go before being compared to him.He also said there was plenty of american guys in the NBA as good as if not better tha the asian but because he's from a different country he grabs the headlines. Happy Birthday p4p 1 Unfortunately another birthday means another year closer to retirement. 3000 posts,i need to get a fuckin life.

I think his comments reflect his deep seated racist beliefs, he has history of this, it's not the first time Aaron. The fact he's even talkng about race at all tells you something. I found it pathetic in the last 24/7 when he was trying to convince viewers his girlfriend wasn't white. That shite just isn't normal. He's a bigot.

The reason jeremy lin is garnering such publicity is due to him being a Harvard graduate who was not expected to amount to anything in basketball, stuck it out, got a chance and is throwing out MVP numbers. Not because he is Asian.
However, i hate the misuse of the word, meaning and term of racism. Floyd is being a petulant baby by denouncing lin instead of accepting and giving credit. Floyd has a victim mentality where he sees anything none black as a threat. He isn't being racist he is being childish

shit you might well be right there.
Floyd should have fought more. In the ring he is a master where it is all too easy.. suspect he must wonder why others find it so hard. Outside it he is a weak silly childman. I find it more healthier to ignore him unless he has ropes around his world.

I wanted to start this thread but was late for work. Hope Floyd enjoyed his 35th birthday. If his life outside of the Ring was balanced, then he would be one fight away from retiring with a clean Boxing Legacy than is unmatched in the Sport. Sadly its not the case coz Floyd Gambles so much away,he has too many hangers on who are draining his money and I can see him fighting on for another 3 years and getting Beat up by inferior opposition.
Bu still for him to reach age of 35 with his 0,given numerous Champions he has defeated,is testament to his Ring Ability. Did you get that Skav,Mal and Pete?

Yeah I got it Motorman, sadly for you though Floyds career wont be judged on that post of yours or anything you think of the ducker. You can try to convince yourself and others all you like of what Floyd may have become if he wasn't so insecure and his obsession with remaining undefeated for which some strange reason, the fan boys lap it up as if it offers him some place in the all time top 10 or something. Lmao! History will judge him rather harshly I should imagine and guys like you will have a hell of a hard time trying to convince the majority otherwise Motorman. By the way, I seen this thread and decided against posting in it at first, it was only after seeing you mention my name that it got a reaction out of me. I had actually been nice about dear little Floyd latetly and was quite complementry towards him for a change. I will out of respect to the others on here take it easy on him for now and leave it at that. Don't bait me again Motorman, I will tear strips off him next time and have you reaching for the tissues mate haha.

History will judge Floyd pretty well. You may not like it but I can honestly say after many years of watching boxing he's up there as one of the best I've seen. If he were to beat Cotto and Manny and I reckon there is a very strong case for being the best there has been.

That's how I see it too. Once he retires for good he will get a lot more credit than he already does. He's certainly the best I've seen in my 20 years (possibly joint top with a prime roy jones).
