I hope the people who were calling Moat a legend are happy.

I guess he couldn't cope anymore. RIP

Really sad news, I really do hope Moat rots in hell, total scumbag, anyone that imagined he was anything more was not worth anything. David was a cousin of a friend of mine and obviously life was hard for him considering what happened

Lets hope he was the last victim of Moat. Glad he managed to do plenty of charity work inbetween the Moat incident and yesterday but ultimately hes paid the ultimate price for being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

The mind is a very powerful tool and he obviously couldn't go on any more.

RIP

Sad news indeed.  There had been a number of obvious family problems for him since this happened, and it ended his marriage.  Life withough any sight at all must be a living hell frankly, impossible to imagine.  His close family will no doubt be feeling a sense of grief and responsibility at the same time.  Hard to handle, that one.  RIP fella

He went through a terrible ordeal that destroyed his life. He seemed a very bitter man with the treatment he was given by his own force and subsquent law suit against them. Its sad he killed himself but its just him that suffered his wife and kids must have equally gone through hell
