Dave, for music there's iTunes, not sure about Movies though, like you I'm pretty useless with this techy stuff. Regarding presentations, speadsheets etc etc you'll need to pay and download the programs so you can use them...........this might help a little bit:

http://www.apple.com/uk/ipad/business/

Scroll about half way down and choose Apps for Business, hope it helps   Smiley

I'm starting to wonder why i paid the extra £100 for the 4G!!

Yet another consumer that apple have ripped off. By the time 4g has enough coverage the iPad 3s, 4b or 5 something will be out.

Ok, I took the plunge at weekend and got the iPad3, had a play around on it and downloaded a few apps etc. Now I could do with downloading 3 or 4 films for watching on long flights mainly - where is the best place to get these from, i'm not bothered about paying for them from a legit site.

Also, the site would need to be easy to use to get the downloads from, i'm crap with technology. Oh yes, i've never downloaded films to a pc/laptop either so i'm non the wiser on them too

Go into settings and the top button is airplane mode, they just ask you to leave them off for the take off / landing
