I payed about £14 for video wizard but I've found it well worth it just by being so simple to use.

I use windvdripper. Free download. Rips your DVD to any format you like .avi .wmv .mp4 etc. I prefer .wmv as the files are smaller without quality loss and YouTube likes .wmv for uploading.

Get the free app AVplayerHD. That then lets you play any video file you like. Tremendous app.

Mines only the 16gb version and I can squeeze about 8 - 10 films on mine but each film is a different size so it can vary quite a lot, also when converting from DVD you can choose between different qualitys but always choose high quality for mine.

That's pretty good !!

I'm just weighing up if I should get one or not, I would love an iMac but spending a grand plus on something I wouldn't even use properly is a bit steep.

An iPad would prob do all I would need.

Cheers for the info  Smiley

Depends on what you would use it for doesn't it? I use mine all the time, I use it for work, I use it to surf, I play games, I have music films and tons of books on it etc. For me, it has been WELL worth the money and I got the top end one
