Will miss this one...........Daughters wedding day.
Buy the wife a video camera, walk daughter down the isle, then bugger off. Good luck Carl, i thought this was to be an easyish homecomming fight? Not with Carl huh!! best resume in recent boxing bar none. War!!!

Totally agree! It's the stuff of a bloke that dosen't lack confidence and is always trying to give the fans their money's worth and fights they want, instead of the usual mis-matches we get from alot and way to often. Full credit to Bute for stepping up to the plate, likewise of course to Froch by always pushing for the big fights and getting them done. Looking forward to it.

Credit to both fighters for providing a fight that the fans want to see. The champion defending in the challengers hometown, never mind country and Froch coming off a bad defeat going straight back in there with a big name.
Should be a good fight, looking forward to it.

imo Bute gets as much credit for this as Froch did for the Taylor fight....a real make or break here for Bute...to beat Froch he will hav to do it his way. Bute wont have the phenominal skill range and strength, speed of Ward nor will he be able to put Froch on the backfoot(as Bute tends to fight on the backfoot) or go to war for 12 like Kessler did. All I see is Bute on the backfoot all night in Frochs back yard...Froch by UD.

I think Bute is up there with Ward, the way he beat Johnson impressed me alot, he shut out Johnson completly with his jab.
Im planning to support Froch but think its a bad match again.
Bute by wide UD.

The thing that scares me about Bute is his POWER...he must be very confident that he can knock Froch out (I've heard talk that he believes that he can knock Froch out in 3-4 rounds)...

Bute can hit but he hasn't got particularly scary power. Talk of doing Froch in 3 or 4 must be hype or bravado. It took him 9 and 10 rounds to finish Brinkley and Magee respectively.

Dont think this is smart to take just after the Ward fight, he should have knocked out a Manfredo type fighter for a bit of confidence then took this, will be a good scrap but I see Bute taking it.

I trust this will not be in the early hours this time either? AND I have booked a fully cancellable hotel room, given the recent track record! Atlantic City was a dump with no boxing on!

If boxing was full of fighters with Froch's size of knackers the sport would look a lot better than it does now.

I thought Froch should have had a warm up as well but it's good that the Hearns managed to secure this over here. Stylistically, I give it to Bute as he's more mobile but nobody knows with Froch. If he loses this as bad as he did against Ward then he can probably kiss goodbye to the big time. It's do or die.

And I've got to say what a refreshing attitude the man has. Carl will put Bute in a place he will remember when he first fought Andrrade, just that Carl is better. Butes team think that Carl is a limited slugger

At home, coming off a loss, against an opponent who hasn't proven himself.... the pressure is all on Froch.
