I think this one may be close for 4 or 5 rouns too, but I think Mayweather will be too accurate and too fast, and quite possibly too strong for Cotto. Mayweather walks around at a bout the 154lb mark, so he can eat as much as he likes for this while training hard and wont have to drop any weight for the scales. I hope its closer than I think its gonna be!

Zab Judah was as fast or even faster than Mayweather when Cotto fought him, in terms of speed I think Cotto can handle that, Mayweathers game is 'timing' and 'distance' and the only way Cotto can really effect Floyds rhythm is with a jab and Cottos jab is very good.

In the end though I just think Cotto is to small and Mayweather has the ability to adapt to whats infront of him with his versatility. I'm not sure just how effective Cotto really is at this weight class either, he's to small for me.

I'm starting to think that this fight might be close if Cotto fights well. I think the racist has underestimated Cotto...big time.

Team Cotto!

How has he underestimated Cotto? Surely not by being willing to fight him?

Because the racist doesn't do risks, Floyd simply wouldn't be fighting Cotto if Miguel was in his prime. He's diminished.. A diminished star/name is perfect for a coward and serial ducker like Floyd.

Floyd is giving the impression and has the demeanor that this is going to be a walk in the park, when he acts like this it normally means an easy nights work, like he has Cotto's number already.

Cotto might just bring something to surprise Mayweather.

I hope to god he does!

Cotto won't be an easy nights work for Floyd i re watched the Cotto vs Marg 2 fight recently and Cotto's footwork was excellent he wasn't the same walk forward fighter that Manny fought.

I have heard it all now.

I wouldn't expect you to say anything else Aaron, your blinkered, you wank so much over Mayweather. My advice would be, use a tissue! and don't let dat shit get in your eyes!

I can appreciate Duckweathers talent but lets be honest about the dude.

Alls I'm saying is I hope Cotto brings his best to the table, because if he does, Floyd will be in a real fight. (something he's spent the last 5 years avoiding)

ps... hands where I can see them.  Wink

Setting your stall out nicely so you can bitch about cotto being faded should Floyd win easily. I just know that the best form a fighter shows against any other fighter in the world, can still amount to being an easily solved puzzle for Floyd.

I am just happy that in the biggest fight of his life, cotto can weigh in at the weight division limit if wanted and that should he lose his title he will lose it at the official weight of his choice. Had this fight not happened this would of never been the case in his career.

Trust me I am not the only blinkered one out of us two.
