I agree, khan looked awful in those fights. However khan at his best I'd better than Bradley at his best IMO. Khans attitude let's him down for seemingly lesser fights, Bradley would not fall in to that category.

Based on what though pal? I know its all opinion but I cant see that. Bradley would completely dominate the likes of Judah, Maidana and Mallianaggi with ease. He may not throw massive punches and flashy combo's. However he dominates fights from start to finish in almost all cases. He has a quality chin, which he showed against Holt. Holt was flying at the time too that was a very impressive win where Tim was the underdog and that left hand would have knocked out 99% of fighters, it was a peach.

Its not as simple as saying he only fights well in certain circumstances, I dont think Khan works in that way, he trains the same and prepares the same each tie. He does what he is told, simple as. He is motivated by the dodgey whiskers also I'm sure, he knows he cant leave a stione unturned.

I think to put the Peterson fight down to him no being bothered is ridiculous. He looked in good shape to me anyways, he did and stated that he did a tough camp. He started like he was focused, strong, fast and well schooled and then as soon as a few shots came back at him he crashed mentally. His extreme fitness and the survival instincts Freddie has beaten into hm kept him going.

So I have to ask in what way was he unprepared? He looked in great nick, started the fight brillianntly... Where were the problems?

Bradley is a safe bet against Khan in my opinion. Khan doesnt have the punch to get him moving back, his jab would be effective but Bradley isnt a simpleton, he knows how to avoid that. He is by far the fitter fighter too. Bradley gets stronger and stronger as the fight goes on whereas Khan, even at full fitness, seems to tire easily. Bradleys body work is top class and the first time Khans body got ripped up a bit against Peterson he showed a few weaknesses. The key to losing to Khan is to head hunt, Bradley wont do that. On another note, if you are to base this on form there is only one winner, on form Bradley is a level above Khan

I know its all opinion, but if the fight happens I will definitely have a friendly bet with you on it!!!!!

I just think when khan is not motivated for a fight it stands out a mile, when he is he looks really good. My opionion is that at 140 khan I'd too fast and strong for Bradley. My own opinion of Bradley is that he is good at best, he certainly offers nothing to fear massively. I would argue that Bradley has not faced anyone as good as a motivated khan, certainly no one as quick with hand and foot.
Hopefully we will find out, but you're right it's best to have an opinion or we may as well just post the ring rankings every time.

I've got to disagree again mate, sorry to keep on but you can't honestly think Khan is to physically strong for Bradley at times in the Peterson and Maidana fights he looked like a baby dear being bullied around.

In your opinion what are the fights that stand out for you as Khan being motivated and looking his best in? His biggest fight to date and to get motivated for was against Maidana and even in that fight he was lucky to get out of it upright. The limited Maidana applied the pressure persistently and Amir eventually let it get the better of him... whether it be roach a few seconds from throwing the towel in or Joe Cortez nullfying Maidanas best hope i don't think its a good example for your case..

Aye fair enough Answer Wink

Now I'm into the swing of predictions  Smiley As of right now I reckon Khan is all wrong for Bradley. His speed and long quick jabs and combos will keep Tim befuddled and frustrated. His size is against him versus rangy Khan and on the backfoot with Amir's usual pitter patter attacks with a few hard body shots and uppercuts to break things up I see a frustrating night for the shorter man. Peterson used his size to wing punches to Khans torso very effectively even when looking out of range, Bradley needs to get much closer. My doubts are wheither Khan can keep it up for the full 12 and he'd likely have a torrid few final rounds. If he trains for a backfoot fight (rather than be forced into it!) can relax enough doing it, I think his speed will win it for him.

I'm more doubtful he can beat Peterson.

None of the above worked in any way for Alexander. Arguably a better boxer than Amir. Bradleys not an idiot nor is Khan stronger, a jab wont keep him away.

Hopefully we will find out and see a decent fight. However with boxing these days there's more chance of making Bradford British.

Hope so too. Tim can lose to Manny and it could still happen but if Khan loses his next he's out in the wilderness. Peterson II is a big, big fight for him. He better have worked on a different strategy than last time. Same situation for Froch. Going to be some stomach churning leading up to watching those two fights.
