Well I think we shall now file him in the 'David Lemieux' category.

He looked absolutely sensational after demolishing Sebastian Sylvester in Germany, then he looked under-trained, disinterested and in poor condition last night against a domestic level fighter.

To cut him a little bit of slack, he said he couldn't see much from his left eye after that nasty cut he sustained, and showed flashes of his brilliance.

But he will certainly have to book his ideas up and stop being cocky in his next bout.

I had Proska Winning by 1 round but to be fair it really could have gone either way.
The cut appeared to be a major factor also Hopes lack of power semmed to give Proska a care free approach and he never bothered with blocking shots i think he was convinced he would catch up with him and spark him.

Congrats to Hope i dint see the odds before the fight but i bet he was massive underdog.

With hindsight, they should have pulled him before the 4th on the cut.

He won all the openers.

The corner asked him in the fourth (I think it was the fourth) but he said he was going on.

I think it's a sad case of being vastly under prepared for the the type of fight that kerry made it. He thought he was going to starch kerry and he couldn't get it done. All bangers go through it and it's good it's happened now, he can learn and come back.

It was the fight of the night, and no mistake.  They went at it and the adrenaline was flowing for both, resulting in the point deduction for a butt after the bell.  They seemed to put it behind them by the end though.  I was just enjoying the live atmosphere and so not particularly trying to keep score, but so many rounds were very close.  It had rematch written all over it.

Cracking fight and fight of the night for me both guys gave it there all and put everything into it. I thought it was a pretty level fight and wouldn't have argued had it went either way.
