just curious as to how much was offered ,or we think? I think they offerd a poor amount to froch simply cause they could say they offerd it and try to undermine him a bit by he declined it etc

do you think he will be making more by fighting Bute ?

I'm not sure how much Froch is earning I would have thought Froch would be looking for a million for a fight with Cleverly no idea how much they offered 300-400k. Just a guess.

It was prob the classic game of a crap offer they knew wouldnt be accepted to say they offered the fight and Carl turned it down making out he was scared to take the fight etc

All used to promote Clev in a certain promoters newspaper column and then go about matching him up with an eastern european bum.

Crazy question. The answer is so obvious. Bute is hot property is Canada, big buisness, and highly dangerous. You would have to be stark raving mad to not see the obvious.

Cleverly or whatever his name is is just pulling a Frankie special, mentioning big names for the extra publicity and attention. They all do it, pulls tickets and get's people talking.

Froch has been around the traps long enough to fall for that school yard shit.

Mal, its not really a "carazy question" im only asking folk for an idea of what was offered, and if they think and wether they share my suspicion that it was more for publicity for ****** .

I am more than aware that Bute is big in Canada ,but at the time they offerd froch the fight i dont think the bute fight had been close to be singed

Probably an IOU and a food stamp.

Another case of ****** promising a set figure and then not paying the fighter said amount afterwards.

As far as I'm aware no offer was ever made.

Just press releases sucking-off Froch's profile.

They ain't got a pot to Piss in, let alone a mill to offer Froch.

Joking aside I think it would be an interesting fight - but the clash of promoters, zero cash flow and tv channels means it will never be ever more than an FW press release.
