Refuting rumours suggesting he is afraid of the Filipino pride Manny Pacquiao, Timothy Bradley asserted that he will not at all be bothered by Pacquiao’s presence in the ring because it will be just another fight for him. Timothy Bradley will be facing Manny Pacquiao on June 9 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Bradley, who currently is an unbeaten fighter after entering the ring 29 times, will take on Pacquiao for his WBO welterweight title. If all goes well for Bradley, he will not only have the honour of defeating the pound-for-pound king but he will also win the WBO welterweight title.

In his recent media interaction, Bradley iterated, “Manny Pacquiao is the biggest name in boxing, next to Floyd Mayweather. But it's a name. He's a fighter. He's a human being. He has skill; I have skill. I'm not in awe when I see Manny Pacquiao. It's another fight to me. Take away all the cameras, all the attention, the media, put us in the ring and it's a fight. It's a fight to me.”

Bradley also said that unlike what most people are suggesting, he would make sure he does not freeze on the big day. It should be noted here that this is Bradley’s first ever mega-fight, which is of course a pressurizing factor for him. On the other hand, Manny has fought several top-notch fighters to date so he will probably be at peace.

Bradley further added, “know what I'm capable of doing because I have been pushed to that edge, to that limit. I know what I'm capable of doing. I know that I can compete with this guy. I think that he's going to bring the best out of me. "[For] Manny Pacquiao, I'm going to have to bring my 'A' game. It's going to come out. It has to come out.”

In his previous interview, Bradley said that he has been watching Pacquiao’s fights with Marquez to check out Pacquiao’s skills. He added that to a certain extent he knows how to take down Pacquiao and what to expect from him.

I give Bradley far less of a chance than Marquez.  He'll be out of his depth.  Kayo time, for the hammerhead.

It's one thing spoiling Devon Alexander.  I just don't see how Pacquiao is going to fall for it.  Once the first powerful left hand lands, Bradley will be flustered and lose the commitment he needs to challenge Pacquiao.  The Mosley fight springs to mind.

I'm backing Bradley in this one. Pac is on the verge of losing one, I dont personally want to see Pac losing, but I can see Bradley completely out working landing alot of right hands on Pac. Its not often Pac faces a man as fit as him, but in this case he may be the one blowing hard.

I believe Bradley is coming to win and I will be shocked and very impressed if Pac has an easy night. I'm very excited about a real live fight with a superstar involved.

I share the same opinion.

Bradley beating Pac wont come as any great surprise to me. I'm expecting to see an even fight, backwards and forwards with both guy's going at it like a pair of cowboys. Scrappy and wild like a pub brawl at times.

I can't see Bradley folding like Mosley who for me was only there for the pay, Bradley will see this as a meal ticket for bigger and better payday's. A win over Manny will land him another big payday with Floyd providing he doesn't take another vacation

I can't help but feel Manny losing to Tim would be a disaster for his reputation, the fact many see this as a tough fight for him concerns me.

He has to be getting Tim out of there in this, I just can't see any other result being a positive one.

No doubt if Manny was to lose people would say he was on his way out etc, much like a lot did when Marquez outboxed him. Personally I would just be devastated such an accomplished fighter had lost to one at the moment rated no better than decent by most, if he does lose then he might as well pac in because any hope of a Floyd fight is gone and any chance of winning is even smaller imo.

Bradley beating Manny would be a disaster for boxing, for me anyhow.

I think Bradley will try stick to fundamentals and avoid a scrap, land headbutts all over the shop and look fior the right hand.

People forget Bradley is a top class BOXER.

I think Floyd would take the Bradley fight in a heart beat, I would imagine he would see it as pretty easy work in all honesty.

For sure, that's why I added the 'at times' comment because over all I think he will play it smart. I think there will be times though he will be drawn into a scrap, no doubt. He's deterimed and wont make the same mistake as Marquez by waiting.

Aaron, it's near on impossible for any fighter to knock every single fighter they face out. Bradley with what I have seen has shown he has a good set of whiskers on him. Marciano & Tyson didn't exactly knock everyone out that they were expected to, I think it's harsh to expect likewise from Manny when you take into account his opponent is tough as nails.

I think you will find most actually agree Bradley is good, not great but good, that's a level above ' decent'.

Yeah, funny how he'd take this in a heart beat and not Manny haha. I reckon he would be shitting bricks if Bradley tops Manny. I just can't see him fighting anyone who is a genuine chance of beating him, he's basically said so in the past couple of days with articles and quotes I've read from him

I can't see anything other than a Pacquiao stoppage. I think he will just swarm Bradley and be over within 8 rounds. I hope I'm wrong but I think Bradley will be way out of his depth.
